Storyline

Sassy, streetwise Max works two jobs just to get by, one of which is waiting tables during the night shift at the retro-hip Williamsburg Diner. Sophisticated Caroline is an uptown trust fund princess who's having a run of bad luck that forces her to reluctantly give waitressing a shot. At first, Max sees Caroline as yet another in a long line of inept servers she must cover for, but she's surprised to find that Caroline has as much substance as she does style. When Caroline discovers Max's knack for baking amazing cupcakes, she sees a lucrative future for them, but they first need to raise the start-up money. Written by CBS

Trivia

Both girls have saved each other from near-death experiences in the show. Caroline administered mouth-to-mouth resuscitation on Max when she got electrocuted by a live wire, and Max managed to pull Caroline back when she lost her balance and almost fell off a building. See more »

Goofs

Sophie Kaczynski's name should really be Zofia Kaczynska. The form 'Sophie' does not exist in Polish, and because Slavic surnames ending in '-ski' are grammatically considered adjectives, Zofia's surname should be the feminine form 'Kaczynska'. (In mitigation, the character may have dropped 'Zofia' in favor of the more English-sounding 'Sophie', but this doesn't explain the faulty surname.) See more »

Funny Enjoyable & Easy to watch.

  • I'll keep this short and sweet, this new sitcom is fantastic. It's funny, and enjoyable to watch. The Characters are funny, and easy to relate to except from Oleg the cook! Haha. The show has a few one-liners. The best of which is " That girl is working harder than Stephen Hawking trying to put on a pair of cufflinks " So Funny. It's hilarious. 19 Million tuned in for the Premiere so hopefully around 10+ million people will tune in for the second episode. This show has plenty of potential!

Both actresses are young, and beautiful with a good mixture of casting between Young, and old throughout the cast.

Tune in - I'm sure you'll like what you see. I know I did.
