(at around 1h 30 mins) In the WWII flashback with Bucky, they walk up the steps and as they are talking Bucky uncovers and hands Steve a Kwickset door key. Kwickset did not release that key until after the war, in 1948.
(at around 47 mins) Before the fight inside the elevator begins, Captain America asks, "Before we get started, does anyone wanna get out?", if you look at the words he's mouthing, he clearly says the word "off" instead of "out".
(at around 1h 45 mins) After Fury arrives at the Triskelion via helicopter during the final battle, he confronts Pierce and asks, "Why make me head of SHIELD?" to which Pierce replies, "Because you're the best." While Pierce is seen from behind as he says this, it can be seen that his mouth movements don't match this line.
Batroc is said to be French-Algerian. However, he has a very distinctive French Canadian accent, nowhere near any accents commonly heard in France or the Maghreb (Think of it as like an Australian actor sticking to his native accent while portraying an American character)
(at around 1h 50 mins) When Pierce activates the badges being worn by Natasha and the S.H.I.E.L.D. Councilmen, he threatens to burn a two-inch hole in Natasha's sternum. The sternum, aka the breastbone, is in the center of the chest, while the badges are on the wearers' right sides, over the rib cage.
(at around 1h 14 mins) Falcon takes Jasper Sitwell hostage in front of the restaurant. Falcon says, "There's a gray car two spaces down. You and I are going to take a ride." After the rooftop interrogation, during the chase on the overpass, Falcon's car is black.
When Captain America and Black Widow enter the secret Shield bunker, Widow doesn't recognize the portrait of Peggy Carter. Widow, being a long-time agent of Shield, should have immediately recognized her since Peggy was one of the founding members.
(at around 17 mins) When showing Rogers the three new Helicarriers, Fury tells him 'After New York I convinced the World Security Council we needed a quantum surge in threat analysis.' The word 'quantum' refers to the smallest possible amount of something, so Fury is saying that he convinced the WSC to make the smallest possible increase in threat analysis - however, what he shows is a huge change.
(at around 1h 25 mins) When the Hydra agents stop to execute Cap and the others, Rumlow orders his henchman to dig three holes, to bury the bodies in. But they are in a paved alleyway, any graves would require heavy machinery to dig.
(at around 1h 1 min) When Cap and Widow enter Zola's computer room, it is after having descended several levels below the bunker using a hidden elevator. After the missile strike, they are shown to be only a few feet below ground level.
(at around 5 mins) In the opening scene of the movie, when Captain America sky dives on to the deck of the ship along with the rest of his team, there is a huge storm at sea with high winds and large waves in the ocean. When they land on the deck of the ship, the air is so calm that their hair doesn't even move.
(at around 1h 3 mins) Zola tells Cap and Widow that he was captured in 1945. In Captain America: The First Avenger, Zola is captured the same day that Bucky dies. According to the Smithsonian display, Bucky died in 1944.
The Triskelion is located on Theodore Roosevelt Island - in the opening scene, as Steve and Sam are jogging, the Triskelion is tall enough that it should have been visible to the north of the Abraham Lincoln Memorial, yet it doesn't make an appearance.
When Captain Rogers gets on the elevator with Nick Fury, the computer identifies him as being a Level 8 agent. Later in the film though, Alexander Pierce refers to Rogers and Romanoff as being Level 6 agents. The latter seems accurate as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. establishes Phil Coulson as Level 7, and in The Avengers and Thor, he can be seen giving orders to Romanoff and Clint Barton.
(at around 29 mins) During the police attack, Fury's SUV is able to get away because of the significant space left by the rear vehicle but only seconds before, it was nearly under the SUV. Fury's AI accelerates forward but doesn't move the front vehicle either. We can see this because the battering ram is still next to the driver side window.
(at around 1h 55 mins) When the hovercarrier collides with the Triskelion, Romanoff is seen running to escape the collapsing building still wearing the outfit she wore while she was impersonating Councilwoman Hawley. However, a few seconds later, after she is in the helicopter, she is suddenly back in her signature black leather jumpsuit.
(at around 1h 9 mins) When Black Widow and the Cap are laying low at Falcon's apartment, Black Widow dries her hair, which is wavy and full of frizz. In the very next scene it is perfectly straight again.
(at around 1h 17 mins) During the highway car chase, the car that Steve, Natasha, and Falcon are in scrapes another car on their left side, resulting in the driver's side rear-view mirror breaking off. However, in the next full shot of the car, the mirror is seen perfectly intact.
(at around 52 mins) When Steve returns to the hospital vending machine for the flash drive, the gum and drive are missing. Natasha appears behind him chewing gum. When he pushes her in the other room to talk she no longer has gum in her mouth.
(at around 1h 14 mins) When Sitwell is confronted by the Falcon at the cafe he has a Hydra pin on his left jacket lapel. In the next scene while he is talking to the Captain and Black Widow on the rooftop it disappears. After he is thrown off and caught by the Falcon and thrown back on the rooftop it magically reappears.
(at around 1h 19 mins) When Hydra soldiers underneath the bridge are shooting at Captain America right after he gets out of the crashed bus we see bullet shells pile up at the feet of one of the soldiers on the car he is standing on, however when Captain America attacks the soldier the bullets are gone.
(at around 49 mins) After Captain America jumps out of the elevator he lands with only his uniform and shield. He then reappears coming from the garage on a motorcycle wearing the mask/helmet he left on an upper floor.
(at around 54 mins) When Natasha and Steve are at the Apple Store, Natasha plugs in the pen drive onto the left hand side of the MacBook but when the S.H.I.E.L.D members arrive, the pen drive is missing from the USB port and then again in the next scene it comes back.
From the time Captain went to hospital to gather USB to the time they exit mall and borrowed a car to go to New Jersey, Captain was all in disguise and Captain was not carrying his shield. Also when they exit the car in New Jersey Captain was still without his shield but when they came to the door to the secret elevator, his shield suddenly appeared in his hand to break the lock.
(at around 1h 16 mins) At the start of the bridge fight, Winter Soldier is shown in carrying a few knives on his belt and holster. When he is first seen being thrown off the car, landing on the asphalt and shooting, he is shown carrying a mid-size combat knife on his right leg rig. The knife is correctly shown as being a Cold Steel GI Tanto (Model 80PGTK). At about 1h 22m 30-31s, a few minutes into the fight, as Rogers is running toward him, he draws a completely different knife from the same sheath, this one being a current generation Gerber Mark 2 combat dagger (Model 22-01874).
(at around 1h 35 mins) When Steve is addressing the Triskelion from the control room before the helicarrier launch, he briefly wears his shield on his back using the same brown harness that he used to wear the shield with his "stealth suit" earlier in the movie. However, at this time he was wearing his World War II era costume with a harness already attached, so he would not have needed the brown harness to carry the shield on his back. Shots immediately before this scene (such as when he, Sam, and Maria approach the Triskelion through the woods or when they enter from the stairwell into the control room) do not show Steve wearing the brown shield harness.
(at around 1h 30 mins) When Steve and Sam have their talk about Bucky, Sam's hair is cut quite tight on the sides. When they're inside SHIELD (only a few hours later) Sam's hair is longer on the sides in various shots.
(at around 1h 4 mins) In the New Jersey secret bunker scene, Zola explicitly mentions that S.H.I.E.L.D. was founded after World War II. However in Iron Man Agent Coulson introduce himself to Potts as being part of the "Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division" - implicitly saying that the acronym S.H.I.E.L.D. is not yet in used, because "they" haven't figured it out yet ("it's quite the mouthful?" "yes, we're working on it"). How come Zola, dead way before the Iron Man era, knows about the S.H.I.E.L.D. acronym ?
(at around 27 mins) When Nick Fury pulls up to the stop light and the police car pulls up next to him, the long shot shows the passenger side window of Fury's SUV to be closed. The close-up when the cops are looking at Fury and Fury's response shows the window to be down when Fury asks if they want to see any paperwork. Then when it goes back to the wide shot/long shot, the window is once again closed.
(at around 6 mins) When Steve and the SHIELD Strike team are assaulting the Lumerian Star, Steve is running along the starboard deck of the ship. He enters a tunnel or corridor and is hidden from view for a second. After this hidden interval, he emerges from the corridor in about half the time that he should have, judging by his running speed. This can easily be seen by slowing down the video to half speed.
(at around 29 mins) When the police ambush Fury, one of the police cars rams Fury's car from behind and its hood is wedged underneath Fury's rear bumper. But when Fury puts the car into drive to flee from the police, the police car has suddenly backed up a few feet. Fury's AI accelerates the car forward but doesn't move the police car that's blocking Fury in from in front either, and this can be seen because the battering ram is still next to the driver side window.
(at around 1 min) There is a sweat stain on Sam's jumper after he finishes jogging with Steve. As he lies against a tree, the stain is around the neck area and some of it is partway down his jumper. When Steve helps him up, the stain has reduced to just sweat around his neck.
(at around 1h 55 mins) When Falcon and Rumlow are fighting in the Triskelion, after Rumlow throws Falcon through a glass desk partition, he jumps up on the desk, and we see blue skies outside the windows behind him. In the very next shot of him, the final Helicarrier shows up immediately outside the window, despite not moving at such a speed.
(at around 1h 35 mins) When Cap and Falcon are running to attack the helicarriers ("How do we know who the bad guys are?"), Falcon spreads his wings to take off and Cap is inside the wingspan. On the next overhead long shot, Cap is well to the right of Falcon's wingtip.
(at around 12 mins) After the SHIELD agents have rescued the hostages, Steve begins a fight with one of the terrorists who tells him to take off his helmet. Steve takes it off and drops it beside him, leaving it on the floor. After Steve kicks the terrorist and runs over to him, you'll see in the next shot, that the helmet is still right beside him, despite his run.
(at around 1h 17 mins) On the bridge when the Winter Soldier attacks; when Steve, Natasha, and Sam are in the car stopped, a Hummer rear ends them and starts to push the car. The first shot of the Winter Soldier shows various cars near him. Then a brief shot of Sam, and back to the Winter Soldier and the various cars have changed drastically.
(at around 1h 21 mins) After the Winter Soldier blows up the car he assumed Romanoff was hiding behind, she sneaks up behind him and kicks the gun out of his hand. When he throws her at one of the cars, the gun is on the road to the left of some yellow lines, next to a car. A few shots later, when the Winter Soldier picks up the gun, the gun and car have both moved - the gun is now right on the lines, the car is still the same distance from it.
(at around 13 mins) When Steve and Romanoff are lying against the knocked over blinds after dodging the grenade, there is a box shown with some papers in it between them. The first shot shows a white piece of paper sticking furthest out of the box. Next shot, the furthest piece of paper sticking out of the box is now a peach colored piece of paper.
(at around 50 mins) When Captain America takes on the plane outside, the concourse behind him gets shot up and he destroys the plane, which crashes. A little while later the strike team leave the base in convoy along the same concourse that got shot up - there's no damage, and no crashed plane.
(at around 1h 50 mins) When Zola's algorithm is deployed and begin acquiring targets, we see a "grid" with the targets chosen. On the right, just above the pictures of the targets, there is a line indicating "targets acquired." Then we see the guns and then a counter indicating the amount of targets acquired, from 210,000 and up, but the next grid we see, in the "targets acquired" line says 133,213 and up. Besides, all the grids have the same pictures, but in different order.
(at around 56 mins) When Steve and Romanoff are escaping the mall, Romanoff notices Agent Rumlow on the opposite escalator. The first person in front of him is a man wearing a green jacket. Romanoff kisses Steve, the shot then cuts to Rumlow noticing the kiss, and a woman in a white jumper has appeared in front of him. Things go back in the next shot.
(at around 1h 18 mins) After the bus flips, the truck that hit it stops right in front of a Corvette. But when the Winter Soldier is shooting at Romanoff, she takes cover behind a truck. In the wide shot, there is a Monaro, and SUV and a mini-van, but the Corvette is nowhere to be seen.
(at around 1h 40 mins) At one point near the beginning of the infiltration of the helicarriers, Captain America's chinstrap has a twist from his right jaw down to where it covers his chin. This is visible in two shots. The next time his right side is shown afterward, the twist is gone. The chinstrap is too tight for it to have flipped on its own accidentally, and the pad which covers his chin is molded so it wouldn't have sat properly on his face even if it had somehow flipped around. There were undoubtedly several prop helmets made, and this one must have been put together incorrectly.
(at around 1h 21 mins) When the Winter Soldier approaches the car before throwing the grenades at it, one shot shows a water trail dripping at the front of the car he is hiding behind. A few seconds later, after Romanoff ambushes him, a wide angle is shown as he throws her at the car and the water trail is no longer there.
(at around 29 mins) Just after Nick has escaped the "cops" before being chased by them again, Nick tells the car AI to initiate vertical takeoff and the shot then cuts to an angle of Nick from the side. On one side of the windscreen are bullet marks from where the gunmen had fired, and no sign of any bullet marks on the other side. The shot cuts to then show Nick shifting over to the driver's seat and by the next shot, there are suddenly bullet marks all around the windscreen and they are much bigger.
(at around 38 mins) When Steve, Romanoff and Agent Hill are watching Nick being operated on, Agent Hill is on the left, followed by Romanoff in the middle and Steve on the right. A couple of shots later, as Romanoff says "Don't do this to me Nick", it is now suddenly Agent Hill in the middle and Romanoff on the left, then a few shots later, it goes back to Romanoff being in the middle and Agent Hill being on the left.
(at around 30 mins) After Nick has escaped the "cops", he tells the car to give him the wheel. The shot then cuts to an overview shot where Nick is shown speeding through traffic. Just as the shot ends, he is shown about to drive past a bus, but by the next shot, the bus has vanished completely.
(at around 30 mins) When the "cops" are chasing Fury, they push a silver Lancer out of the way. They push it to be facing the wrong way in traffic. In the very next shot it changes back to facing the right way, but at a slight angle.
(at around 32 mins) After Nick's car has crashed and The Winter Soldier begins to approach the car, one shot shows there to be a load of glass outside the car door. When the Winter Soldier approaches the car, the amount of glass has decreased.
(at around 1h 15 mins) When Romanoff kicks Agent Sitwell off the rooftop, Sam flies him back on to the roof. After Sitwell lands, he is shown rolling around on the floor and stops with his legs both stretched out. The next shot shows a wide angle of Sam landing back on the roof in his Falcon wings, and Agent Sitwell, still visible in shot, no longer has his legs stretched out.
(at around 1h 50 mins) When Steve and Bucky are fighting, Bucky eventually lets go of the chip after Steve finishes choking him. The chip is first shown to be right next to the window frame, but when Steve goes to pick up the chip, it is suddenly several inches away from it.
(at around 2h 5 mins) When Baron Wolfgang von Strucker says "We've only scratched the surface and already...", his lips are open. In the next shot, just before he says "there are other facilities doing Hydra's good work around the world", his lips are suddenly closed with no time to do so. This occurs right at the start of the shot and isn't very easy to see, but it is still visible if you look carefully.
(at around 17 mins) When Nick Fury is showing Steve the new helicarriers, just as Nick says "The satellites can read a terrorist's DNA before he steps outside the spider hole", the two are shown turning around. Nick is shown turning around almost completely and Steve is shown only turning half way. In the next shot, Nick is suddenly turned only half way, facing Steve.
(at around 13 mins) After Steve and Romanoff dodge the grenade the terrorist throws at them. Romanoff is shown to be lying against some knocked out blinds that are closed in. In the next shot the blinds are suddenly closed out and her head is now only lying against half of them - the other half of her head is shown lying against the wall. Steve's facial expression also differs between shots, and Romanoff's head moves position.
(at around 1h 6 mins) When Romanoff states to Steve a missile is headed for them, she is shown holding her phone with four of her fingers placed around the phone and her thumb placed on the phone's screen. Then in a close-up all four of her fingers and her thumb are now completely placed around the phone. Then back to having four of her fingers around the phone and her thumb on the phone's screen.
(at around 33 mins) When Steve approaches his apartment door, his neighbour Kate finishes a conversation with her aunt on the phone. She then puts the phone in the basket containing all of her laundry. The phone is first shown to be a few inches away from the box of washing powder, then it moves a little bit closer to the box, then a few shots later, the phone moves even closer to the box.
(at around 24 mins) After Alexander Pierce has finished having a conversation with the World Security Council, he goes over to Nick Fury and starts talking with him. When Pierce says "Nothing some earmarks can't fix", his head is shown to be perfectly forwards and still. Next shot, his head is suddenly shifted to the right a bit.
(at around 7 mins) After all of the SHIELD agents have landed on the boat, the various hostages are shown in the kitchen held at gun point by the terrorists. The first shot shows a male hostage tied up at the very back at the room with his head slightly shifted to the right. In a sudden close-up, just before the shot pans over to Agent Sitwell, that same male hostage at the back of the room no longer has his head shifted whatsoever.
(at around 7 mins) When Steve is on the boat, and knocks out all the terrorists, one last terrorist points a gun at him before being shot by Rumlow. In the first shot, the terrorist is standing in front of Steve, but by the next shot, he is suddenly standing behind Steve. This has nothing to do with the camera angles.
(at around 1 min) After Steve and Sam finish their jog, Sam is lying against a tree. When Sam says to Steve that he ran thirteen miles in 30 minutes, his hand is placed on his leg. In the next shot, his hand has suddenly moved way further up his leg.
(at around 1h 35 mins) After Steve explains to SHIELD that Hydra is working alongside them, one of the World Security Council members calls Alexander Pierce a smug son of a bitch. Three agents then walk into the room and one of them points a gun at one of the council members. The gun is first aimed at his head, then slightly lowered to his chest, then back to being raised and aimed at the head again.
(at around 1h 3 mins) When Steve is explaining who Arnim Zola is to Romanoff, Zola says to them "Look around you. I have never been more alive." At the end of this line, Romanoff is shown turning her head to the right. In the next shot, she's suddenly looking back at Zola.
(at around 47 mins) In the elevator, when Agent Rumlow says "Sorry about what happened with Fury. It's messed up, what happened to him" and Steve replies "Thank you", Rumlow lowers his head. Next shot, his head is suddenly raised.
(at around 20 mins) When Steve is talking with Peggy, just as Peggy says "My only regret is that you didn't get to live yours", there are a few vertical line shaped creases on her pillow. The shot then cuts over to Steve, but when the shot cuts back to Peggy, the vertical crease furthest away from Peggy has decreased and the vertical crease in the middle of the creases has slightly increased.
(at around 11 mins) When Steve is fighting the terrorist who told him to remove his helmet, the fight begins out in the open. Steve is then shown in one shot kicking the terrorist enough times he falls back into a compartment with loads of weaponry. Then in an instant, they are suddenly back to fighting out in the open and most certainly not in the compartment. This has nothing to do with the angle of the camera.
(at around 7 mins) After Steve has taken out all the terrorists guarding the boat, the other SHIELD agents land on the boat in parachutes. As soon as Romanoff lands on the boat, she continues walking with Steve and begins conversation. From the reverse angle, Romanoff is visibly in front of Steve, but from the sudden following shot from the side, she is suddenly standing behind him.
(at around 1h) When Steve and Romanoff are at the camp site, they enter an office. As they enter, the door is mostly open, but closed by a few inches. In the next shot, just as they discover the portraits, the door is fully open.
(at around 1h 16 mins) Just before the Winter Soldier ambushes Steve, Romanoff, Sam and Sitwell in the car, Steve suggests they use Sitwell to bypass the DNA scans and access the hellicarriers directly. Sitwell then says it is a terrible idea and Steve slightly turns his head to the mirror in the centre of the car, then in the next shot, his head is suddenly turned to Sitwell.
(at around 38 mins) When Romanoff runs into the hospital room (with Steve and Agent Hill already inside) to see Nick being operated on, you can just make out a white tape marker near the bottom of the wall showing where Romanoff is supposed to stand.
(at around 1h 21 mins) After The Winter Soldier throws a grenade at the car, Romanoff appears behind and starts fighting with him. Romanoff ties his hands together and the Winter Soldier walks back into a silver car. In the following shot, just as the Winter Soldier aims Romanoff at the other car, it can be noticed that Romanoff has been replaced by a stunt double. This is only visible for a frame or two so you'll have to be quick in order to see it.
(at around 3 mins) In an early scene the location is given as "Indian Ocean Lat 16N 55' 12.06" Long: 72N 56' 7.09" " Longitude represents E/W, so the 72N should be 72E. That would put the plane just off the coast of Ratnagiri, India.
(at around 57 mins) When Steve and Natasha enter New Jersey, they are clearly driving across a landlocked border. Since they were driving North from Washington, DC, they would have entered into New Jersey from Pennsylvania or Delaware. Both states are only accessible to New Jersey by crossing the Delaware River. New Jersey's only landlocked border is on the Northernmost region of the state, crossing out of and into New York State.
(at around 13 mins) The first time we are introduced to the Triskelion S.H.I.E.L.D. HQ building, the latitude/longitude are given as "38N 53'33.78" 77S 3' 38.91". Longitude is given in 'E' or 'W' (East or West), not 'S' (South); in this case it's to the west, locating the Triskelion on Theodore Roosevelt Island in the Potomac River, Washington DC, USA.
(at around 30 mins) During the chase scene, Fury's navigation system tells him that 17th Avenue is clear up ahead. There is no 17th Avenue in DC, the navigation system should have said 17th Street (SW if it was being truly accurate as Fury was shown driving by L'Enfant Plaza and going toward the Roosevelt Bridge).
(At 13:44) When the camera is showing the Triskelion S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters, it shows a Latitude of 38N with a Longitute of 77S. As longitude is measured in east/west, these coordinates are nonsensical.
(at around 31 mins) During the Nick Fury chase scene that takes place in D.C., several black and white state highway 6 signs are visible. These signs are unique to Ohio. Route 6 goes straight through downtown Cleveland where the scene was filmed. Plus during other chase scenes several Cleveland landmarks are visible in the background.
(at around 18 mins) Captain America's display should be in the National Museum of American History instead of the National Air and Space Museum shown in the previous scene (with the Spirit of St. Louis, etc).
(at around 1h 2 mins) In the bunker with the computer equipment from the 1970s, the top and bottom reels of the tape drives moved in steady unison. Unless every tape was exactly at the middle, the reels would have to spin at different speeds. But they didn't work that way anyway; vertical tape drives of that period were "vacuum column" drives. They were very jumpy (lots of starts/stops) and the top and bottom reels were staggered in motion (one speeding up slightly before the other).
(at around 1h 4 mins) During the Zola scene, the computer monitors show news headlines and stories that elaborate on past events Zola tells our heroes about. But these are "black and green" monochrome computer monitors; they would not have been able to produce full colored images like this, let alone with the crisp HD quality they are presented in.
(at around 50 mins) When Captain America is escaping from SHIELD on his motorcycle and confronted by the hover-jet, he is seen slaloming to avoid the strafing from the mini-gun. However, the mini-gun fires a stream of bullets, and he would have had to drive through them to do that.
(at around 57 mins) When Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff are driving the Chevrolet pickup truck to New Jersey, the shifter handle is visible next to the steering wheel when the camera pans to Rogers who was driving. The shifter handle should not be visible if the truck is truly in Drive as it was portrayed.
The World Security Council in the film consists of 5 people, presumably the 5 permanent members. They are from the USA; Great-Britain; China; Russia; and India. However, in reality India is not a permanent member, but France is.
(at around 1h 18 mins) When Rogers is launched through the front window of the bus after the Winter Soldier shoots him with a grenade, the bus is hit by a truck and flips. But if you look closely, the damage is minimal. On the truck it would qualify as a fender bender, and the dent in the bus looks like it was made with one decent swing from a sledgehammer. No way was that collision powerful enough to flip a fourteen ton bus on its side.
When they go underground in Wheaton NJ and find an old computer "is ancient", she types and the keyboard sounds "soft" click like current keyboards. This as well as if this computer is from the same time WW2 as Captain America, the computers had huge panels with many switches and lights, punch card reader, etc not just a keyboard. Also, for an old computer that from the days used punch cards for input, it has a USB hub.
(at around 2h 15 mins) The Winter Soldier would have been unable to enter the Smithsonian as metal detectors are in use during the security check-in and his prosthetic arm would have been picked up by the detectors.
(at around 1h 4 mins) During Zola's presentation, it is shown that, when SSR becomes SHIELD in 1945, it has the ZIP code 20595. The United States Postal Service did not start using ZIP codes until 1963.
Captain's shield during the opening ship scene has a different color scheme. To be more specific it lacks red. If the shield is paid attention when it is close to white light sources where flesh tone is neutral, red still can't be seen on the shield. As further proof, in scenes where Black Widow's red hair -which is relatively pale compared to shield's bright red) can be clearly seen as red, shield is still in shades of blue.
The movie makes numerous references to Black Widow (born in 1984) being part of the KGB, which folded in 1991. She would have been about six in order to have been in the KGB. But the geo-political history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is not necessarily exactly the same as in the real world. For instance the flying car being invented during WWII means that history is not exactly as we know it. Even HYDRA (an off shoot of the Nazi party) continues for decades after WWII.
(at around 1h 5 mins) The newspaper clip that Zola shows Cap and Widow of Howard's death shows the younger Howard Stark from Captain America but should have shown the older Howard Stark from Iron Man 2. However, it is not uncommon for a younger picture of someone to appear in newspaper articles about their death. Even obituaries sometimes do this.
(at around 6 mins) Early in the film Captain America pins a guard reaching for an alarm using a throwing knife through his hand. He then knocks the guard unconscious with the guard dropping to the ground even though his hand was never unpinned. The knife doesn't actually pin the guard's hand to the wall. It can be seen moving slightly even after the knife stabs it, indicating the knife merely caused the back of his hand to hit the wall.
During numerous fight scenes, Captain America falls back due to blocking hits with his shield: which absorbs nearly all kinetic energy. See other Marvel movies where he can take a hit from Thor's hammer, blasts from Iron Man, shots from aliens & ships, yet a human punch/kick causes him to stumble back.
(at around 1h 18 mins) In the face off with Winter Soldier on the overpass, Captain America is thrown from the overpass when he blocks an RPG with his shield. Captain America's shield does not transmit kinetic energy.
(at around 49 mins) At the end of the elevator fight scene, Sitwell directs a strike team to the 25th floor, where the elevator is. Cap cuts the cable, causing the elevator to fall several stories but there is a strike team there as well. There would be no way for them to know ahead of time what floor the emergency brake would stop them on.
(at around 37 mins) After Fury is shot and Agent 13 gets on the walkie talkie, she says "Foxtrot is down and unresponsive. Need EMS." the voice on the other end asks if there is a 20 on the shooter. No one ever said he was shot, just that he was down.
(at around 1h 20 mins) In the street fight scene after Captain America runs out of the bus, Falcon can be seen on the overpass shooting a rifle right handed. After he yells "Go, I got this." he is briefly shown shooting left handed even though there was not time or reason to switch.
(at around 27 mins) Despite the speed at which the first DC metro police car strikes the Cadillac Escalade the film shot over Nick Fury's shoulder as he begins to cross the intersection shows no approaching police car.
(at around 1h 35 mins) When the massive underground Insight Helicarrier launch pads emerged from under the Potomac, they should have caused waves to spread out from them in every direction, but aside from a little splashing, the water all around the pads remained calm.
(at around 30 mins) When Fury drives between the Jeep and the Mitsubishi, the sides of both cars are already damaged, and both are missing the mirrors on the sides that Fury drives past, indicating those cars were used for earlier takes.
(at around 6 mins) During the rescue mission aboard the Lemurian Star, the Captain throws a knife through the hand of a terrorist, preventing him from triggering the alarm by nailing his hand to the wall. As the Captain is about to knock him out he pulls his hand, along with the knife, towards him, without leaving any mark on the wall. The knife should protrude almost two inches through the character's palm, given the length of the blade and the depth of penetration.

It was mentioned earlier that they would fly around the country taking out their targets.
