It’s that time of year. You saw family for Thanksgiving and now you have to see them again for Christmas. You bought something for yourself on Cyber Monday, but still have to buy something for the people in your life, whether they deserve it or not. Money is going out the door. All you really want to do is walk down a snowy sidewalk, all relaxed and wearing a scarf like they do in Netflix or Hallmark rom-coms, but you’re too harried. No doubt about it, the lead up to the holidays is stressful.
Well, we’re here to help. This is a short, curated list of things that we like and find cool — and we think that you will, too. And if it gives you some ideas and makes your life easier, even better.

Sweeney started the year in the spotlight with romantic comedy ‘Anyone But You,' and went on to star in Sony's Spider-Man spin-off ‘Madame Web,’ and the religious horror hit ‘Immaculate.’
Sweeney's 'Anyone But You' co-star Glen Powell led the Most Popular Breakout Stars list and ranks fifth overall among the Top Stars. Powell's ascent to leading man status was fueled by his charismatic turns in Richard Linklater’s ‘Hit Man' and in ‘Twisters.’

Joining Powell on the list, actors like Nicola Coughlan, Emma Corrin (‘Deadpool & Wolverine’), Cailee Spaeny (‘Alien: Romulus’), and Nava Mau (“Baby Reindeer”) have captured the attention of audiences, suggesting a bright future for these rising stars.

IMDb has officially unveiled the most popular movies and TV shows of 2024 as part of their annual recap of the year in entertainment. Based on the actual page views of 250 million monthly visitors worldwide, IMDb's authoritative lists reflect the films and series that fans couldn't stop talking about this year. And despite critical chatter about Hollywood's rinse-and-repeat habits, entertainment fans can't seem to get enough of the sequels, prequels, reboots, and spin-offs that studios are dishing out.
Topping the list of most popular movies is the long-awaited ‘Deadpool & Wolverine,’ which brought together Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman as two of Marvel's most beloved characters. With a worldwide gross of $1.3 billion, the film passed 'Joker' as the highest-grossing R-rated film in history, giving Disney a much-needed hit from Marvel Studios. Warner Bros. claimed the second and third spots with Denis Villeneuve’s ‘Dune: Part Two’ and George Miller’s ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,’ starring Anya Taylor-Joy.
On the small screen, the highly rated fourth season “True Detective: Night Country” reigned supreme as the most popular show of the year (and scored an Emmy for lead actress Jodie Foster). Prime Video’s gritty superhero series "The Boys," and Max’s Batman spin-off "The Penguin" followed closely behind, proving the enduring popularity of comic book adaptations.
But even as familiar franchises dominated the top spots, there were some original films and less-familiar IP also crept into the top spots. Oz Perkins’s ‘Longlegs’ and Coralie Fargeat’s body-horror thriller ‘The Substance’ were two indie horror hits that caught fire in 2024. And while the top TV shows are all based on pre-existing IP, there were some fresh debuts, including Prime Video’s video game adaptation “Fallout," FX’s “Shōgun” reboot, and Netflix’s “The Gentlemen,” based on the Guy Ritchie movie of the same name.
IMDb’s end-of-year coverage also includes the site’s Most Popular Stars of the year, a curated list of IMDb Staff Picks, and a look at the stars we lost in 2024. For full coverage of the Best Of 2024, head to IMDb.com and the IMDb mobile apps.

When Bob Iger returned to the Disney CEO throne at the end of 2022, his first order of business was to dismantle a structure that saw the studio’s distribution and creative divisions operating separately. Instead, he put distribution and marketing under the control of Disney Entertainment co-chairman Alan Bergman. One year later, Iger made clear that Disney would stay far away from the culture wars that had taken a toll on the company’s stock price amid a revolt from conservative consumers. “Creators lost sight of what their No. 1 objective needed to be,” he said at the DealBook Summit. “We have to entertain first. It’s not about messages.”

Releases in China of blockbusters Wicked and Gladiator II suggest the potent market’s appetite for Hollywood fare is steadily returning, in the view of Imax CFO Natasha Fernandes.
“We continue to see more positive signs,” she said Tuesday at the Wells Fargo Tmt Summit, with “even the censorship, when you think about it, allowing more diverse content to get in. We’ve seen some rated-r movies make it in this year, edgier titles like Alien: Romulus and Deadpool: Wolverine. … Wicked is due to release this upcoming week. Titles that you would have historically never thought would get in …. You’re seeing that they want the box office to return. That trend suggests that there will be even more Hollywood titles getting in even in the next years.”

It is noteworthy as the cinemas are filled with major tentpole movies. Amidst that, Hugh’s film achieved a remarkable feat, which boosts the confidence of filmmakers who create small-budget movies. Horror movies have been performing well this year, and some of them include Smile 2, Terrifier 3, Alien: Romulus, and more. Grant’s film is an American psychological horror film by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods. The film’s cast includes Sophie Thatcher, Chloe East, and Topher Grace.

A line of dialogue in Alien: Romulus has split opinion for months now. Here’s why it might be slightly less incongruous than it first sounds.
Nb: The following contains a spoiler or two for Alien: Romulus.
Director Fede Álvarez’s unabashed affection for the Alien franchise is evident in every frame of Alien: Romulus, first released in August. About a group of scruffy youngsters prowling an abandoned Weyland Yutani station and finding something particularly monstrous in the process, it was filled to the brim with story connections, stylistic cues and call-backs to the series’ first two movies.
One line of dialogue in particular appeared to split opinion somewhat, however. You probably know the one we’re talking about already: David Jonsson’s synthetic, Andy, dramatically takes out a xenomorph with a blast of a pulse rifle and utters the immortal line, “Get away from her… you bitch.”

The film clashed at the theatres with Ridley Scott’s Gladiator II but is leading the way ahead of the period drama. Meanwhile, this Cynthia Erivo starrer crossed the domestic haul of Grease’s $190 million+ haul to become the highest-grossing musical adaptation at the box office in North America.
Meanwhile, Alien: Romulus was released in August of this...

The Alien franchise was actually created by the late writer Dan O’Bannon and his colleague Ronald Shusett, who wrote the original story, which was later adapted into one of the best sci-fi and horror movies of all time. It was Ridley Scott who made the franchise popular with his Alien movie, and the rest is, as you know quite well – history.
Numerous movies from the franchise have been made, as well as series, and we have seen the franchise evolve in many different ways. And it is still evolving, which is a fact that a lot of fans are very, very happy about.
In light of that fact, you can imagine that the fans are also exploring their own theories and possibilities through various artistic forms. While browsing the Internet, we found a very interesting piece of fan art that we wanted to share with you and that you will most certainly enjoy!

While a custom-made popcorn bucket designed to emulate a certain movie isn’t a new development, the trend has certainly spiked this year after the viral sensation of the Dune: Part 2 sandworm bucket that garnered many jokes online. One movie that definitely capitalized off Dune‘s suggestive imagery was Deadpool & Wolverine, as they made a bucket where the entry was the oversized mouth of Wolverine. This year also saw custom popcorn buckets for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, Alien: Romulus, Gladiator II, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and even a special Batman one to commemorate the character’s 85th anniversary. Time has revealed that not only will there be a special edition popcorn bucket for next year’s Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, but Tom Cruise himself had helped to design it. According to Rob Bennett, the director of food and beverage product strategy at AMC, Cruise would be instrumental in guiding...

Seen from the 14th floor of its Radisson Hotel, Montevideo’s skyline, bristling with white marble high-rises and monuments, looks like a very different scenario for Ventana Sur, Latin America’s foremost film-tv co-pro forum and market, relocated from its chic Buenos Aires setting for the first time since 2009.
Yet in many ways, this is the same Ventana Sur, playing to its strengths and galvanized by its context, Uruguay, one of Latin America’s fastest-growing film-tv hubs, both as a big-shoot locale and home-grown movie industry.
Ten takes, as producers and sales agents began to arrive at the Radisson for this year’s edition, hosted by Cannes Marché du Film and Uruguay’s public-sector film agency, Agencia del Cine y Audiovisual (Acau), and running Dec. 2-6 in the Uruguayan capital:

Fede Alvarez Opens Up About The Future Of Alien: Romulus (Photo Credit – Instagram)
The Alien franchise is one of the most influential series of all time. First released in 1979, the Alien movie introduced fans to Xenomorphs, which has become the widely accepted model of what an evil extraterrestrial being will look like. Since then, the film has spanned into an entire franchise, the latest of which is the Alien: Romulus movie. Directed by Fede Alvarez, the movie released in August 2024.
Made on a production budget of $80 Million, Romulus grossed more than $350 million worldwide. Director Alvarez has now become one of the most anticipated names in the genre, having already helmed films like Evil Dead and Don’t Breathe. Despite Romulus’ impressive box office performance and an 80% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the director has shared a cautious update on the movie’s sequel.

David Jonsson, the fast-rising British star of “Alien: Romulus,” “Rye Lane” and “Industry,” has joined Phoebe Arnstein’s short film “If You’re Happy” as executive producer.
Starring “The Crown” alumnus Erin Doherty (soon to be seen in Disney+ series “A Thousand Blows”), “If You’re Happy” follows Lotte (Doherty) as she navigates the daunting challenges and demands of early motherhood. Seeking connection, she attends a local baby group led by a bizarre teacher (Jo Hartley). Lotte is further displaced by the surreal environment and uses a childish game to vent her fury, sparking an unexpected, primal outpouring of emotions amongst the other mothers.
“All the things about British cinema. Shot in my hometown — honest, complex simplicity. A story of our time,” said Jonsson, who was recently unveiled as one of Variety‘s 10 actors to watch in 2024.

Thanksgiving has long been a deadline of sorts for studios campaigning for Oscar nominations, because it offers the tempting proposition of a holiday weekend in which voters might have free time to catch up on movies. In past years, that meant a steady stream of screener DVDs arriving in voters’ mailboxes in the days before Thanksgiving – but now, with the Academy focusing on its members-only screening platform and placing restrictions on physical screeners, the push is to get new films into the Academy Screening Room before the holiday.
Fifteen new films were added to that room on Wednesday, a departure from the usual weekly additions, which typically come every Friday. The newcomers include Best Picture contenders “Conclave” and “The Piano Lesson,” following a Nov. 22 influx that included “Emilia Perez,” “Joker: Folie a Deux,” “Juror No. 2,” “Nightbitch,” “A Real Pain,” “The Room Next Door,” “Saturday Night” and “September 5.”

Ridley Scott made history with his 1979 film sci-fi film Alien which set off a chain reaction. Other filmmakers tried to follow in his footsteps to create another masterpiece that could rival or even stand up to the original. Alas, the follow-ups only further proved the Gladiator director’s genius, which others couldn’t replicate.
However, things changed when the Don’t Breathe director Fede Álvarez took up the task. Alien: Romulus was a refreshing sci-fi venture that many believed was the best-reviewed film from the franchise, except for the first one. The movie’s success almost guaranteed a sequel, but fans are apprehensive about its fate. Although the director is cautious in his approach viewers have some stipulations for the potential follow-up.

Alien: Romulus was a success at the box office while also proving to be a big hit with critics, and 20th Century Studios boss Steve Asbell recently confirmed that early plans are in pace for a sequel.
Director Fede Álvarez has now indicated that he is in talks to return, while explaining why he's hesitant to move forward until they have a story worth telling.
"Well, I mean, we definitely want to do it," the Don't Breathe director tells Gizmodo. "The studio wants to do it. I want to do it. I think with sequels, it’s always about finding the right story. Me and Rodo [Sayagues], my co-writer, we have some ideas, but it’s not until we find something that we go 'Ok, that is a movie worth making' that we really embark on it. Alien: Romulus was a big hit for sci-fi/horror genre this summer when it grossed $350.9 million worldwide and received positive reviews. The movie sits on 7.2 IMDb score and 80% / 85% (critics/audience) Rotten Tomatoes score.
Alien: Romulus can now be watched on Hulu and digitally, and it is set for physical release soon. In the meantime, director Fede Alvarez discussed the physical release, a potential sequel, and other projects he would like to do in this genre.
Cheryl Eddy: What are your thoughts on Alien: Romulus being the first VHS released by Disney in nearly 30 years?
Fede Alvarez: Well, it was my idea, so I’m really excited by it. It all started when we released that scene and a trailer on VHS. That was partly because I didn’t want to release a scene too soon. I didn’t want to spoil a moment of the movie too early on the promotion side.

He’s back, and this year before Thanksgiving, and even as #1 at iTunes.
We’re talking about the Grinch. Two Universal hits featuring the Dr. Seuss character — one live-action (Ron Howard’s “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” starring Jim Carrey), one animated (“The Grinch” from 2018) — both have returned to top 10 VOD lists. And with a vengeance — “How the Grinch” is #1 at iTunes (which ranks by transactions) but even more impressively #7 at Fandango. With that site calculating by revenue, the $3.99 rental cost at 20 percent of the normal $19.99 level (eight of their 10 films have that), it means a huge volume that likely made it tops in transactions there.
Netflix originals continue their hot hand, with five of the top six positions on their U.S. movie chart Monday. “The Piano Lesson,” from August Wilson’s play and featuring Danielle Deadwyler’s award-touted lead performance, is #6 at the moment after debuting at #5 over the weekend.

Director Fede Alvarez recently brought us a new installment in the Alien franchise with his movie Alien: Romulus, but we already have another new Alien project to look forward to. Fargo TV series creator Noah Hawley has been developing an Alien TV series for “FX on Hulu” for the last couple years, and below you’ll find Everything We Know About the Alien TV Series!
The Setting
One of the first things we heard about the Alien series – and one of the most surprising things about it – is that it will actually be set on Earth, a couple decades before the events of the first movie. FX chairman John Landgraf has said the show will take place “right near the end of this century”, and a late-2090s setting would place this between the prequel films Prometheus and Alien: Covenant. Hawley decided to set the show on Earth because “The alien stories are always trapped…...

“Her Story,” a comedy-drama film told from a largely female perspective, topped the mainland China box office on its first weekend of release. “Gladiator II,” opening the same weekend, placed fourth.
Data from consultancy firm Artisan Gateway showed “Her Story” earning RMB125 million ($17.5 million) between Friday and Sunday. Including previews, it has a cumulative of $21.7 million, making it one of the strongest openings in the recently-depressed autumn season.
The film is directed by Shao Yihui (2021’s “B For Busy”). Its fast-paced story focuses on two women – one a recently unemployed single mom, the other a new neighbor who is more troubled than she appears – who become friends. Together they face up to various relationship challenges, including an abusive ex-husband and new romantic possibilities.

Our top pick this week, “Blitz,” is a serious Oscar contender in many categories, including Best Picture, Best Sound, and Best Supporting Actress for Saoirse Ronan, who could be a double nominee this year for this and “The Outrun.” Steve McQueen — a Best Picture winner for “12 Years a Slave” — directs this World War II drama, his first feature in six years, which follows a boy (Elliott Heffernan) as he tries to reunite with his mother (Ronan) during the Blitz of London.
“Blitz” is a sweeping, old-fashioned British WWII movie — perhaps a little too old-fashioned to be a top-tier modern awards contender, as it’s tracking outside of the top five in many of our predictions categories, including Best Director and Best Original Screenplay. Reviews have been positive but not effusive, especially compared to McQueen’s earlier work. But you can expect it to pick up a few noms. It...

Ridley Scott’s “Gladiator II” is full of memorable action scenes, from a bloody showdown featuring CGI baboons to Paul Mescal outsmarting a charging rhino in the Roman Colosseum. But one sequence that is sure to leave audiences with the most questions is a rather insane set piece in which the Colosseum is filled with water and sharks. The gladiators enter the arena on a boat as a mock sea battle is staged, much to the delight of the sadistic emperors Geta (Joseph Quinn) and Caracalla (Fred Hechinger).
But did the Colosseum actually get flooded with water and sharks in real life? It’s a question that’s warranted given Scott often plays fast and loose with history. For instance, “Gladiator II” features a character reading a newspaper 1,200 years before the invention of the printing press. And don’t get us started on Scott’s “Napoleon,” which was so littered...

Few cinematic characters have left as big of an impression as Ellen Ripley, Sigourney Weaver’s iconic “Alien” survivor, who led four films in the franchise and left behind some massive shoes to fill for everyone who’s come since. In “Alien: Romulus,” that’s a young cast of franchise newcomers, led by “Priscilla” and “Civil War” star Cailee Spaeny.
Directed by “Don’t Breathe” and “Evil Dead” filmmaker Fede Álvarez, the latest installment heads back between the events of “Alien” and “Aliens,” introducing a young group of friends desperate to escape their grungy mining colony. You will, of course, recognize the Xenomorph — H.R. Giger’s inimitable alien creature — but for everyone else, here’s a handy guide to the “Alien: Romulus” cast and characters.

I might have hated “Wicked.”
I say “might” not because I’m unsure of my general feelings toward the film, but rather because I’m unsure of what it means for me to hate a piece of art at a time when hair-trigger hostility is so deeply suffused into the air we breathe.

I say “might” not because I’m unsure of my general feelings toward the film, but rather because I’m unsure of what it means for me to hate a piece of art at a time when hair-trigger hostility is so deeply suffused into the air we breathe.

Each week we highlight the noteworthy titles that have recently hit streaming platforms in the United States. Check out this week’s selections below and past round-ups here.
Alien: Romulus (Fede Alvarez)
It’s a dire, inhospitable environment, wherein corporate interests can give way to ghoulish monstrosities, and those just trying to navigate the chokehold of capitalism are doing their best to survive. In a way, Fede Alvarez’s Alien: Romulus may be the most meta Alien film to date. No stranger to playing in others’ sandboxes, the Evil Dead helmer is, at first glance, an encouraging fit for the sci-fi horror franchise. Like the original, 2017’s Alien: Covenant––an underrated high point for these films––was at its peak when threading its headier notions with gleefully mean-spirited cynicism towards its human subjects. Alvarez has that same kind of nasty streak in him, and much of Romulus’ mandated fan service...

Upcoming TV series Alien: Earth has a brief new trailer that has some almost subliminal images buried in it – including what we’re fairly sure is a sheep.
Showrunner Noah Hawley and his collaborators aren’t in a rush to show us too much of the upcoming spin-off series Alien: Earth, coming to FX in 2025. In September, the first teaser trailer emerged – a 15-second piece of footage in which we saw our blue planet reflected in the shiny head of a xenomorph.
Then, at last week’s D23 Brazil live event, a few brief shots from Alien: Earth appeared in a trailer for Disney’s wider slate of offerings coming in 2025 and beyond. As you can see in this compilation of those shots, the six seconds’ footage largely consists of that same shot of Earth reflected in the alien’s head.
Another Alien: Earth teaser trailer dropped today (20th November). And guess what?...

Alien: Romulus may have brought the Xenomorph back to the big screen in style this summer, but next year we'll be getting another, very different sort of Alien project: Alien: Earth. From Fargo creator Noah Hawley, Alien: Earth is set before the original film on, you guessed it, Earth. This is an interesting move for a few reasons, and curiosity has been high among franchise fans about how Alien: Earth would handle this story. Now we finally know a few more details, as well as when we'll get to watch it: Alien: Earth is due to premiere in summer 2025 on Hulu.
This comes from a brand new teaser released today, which comes with the tagline "in 2120, Mother Earth is expecting." You can watch it above.
As for the plot details, Deadline is reporting some brand new information about the series. Alien: Earth is set in the year 2120, a mere two...

On Wednesday, FX released a teaser trailer and key art for “Alien: Earth,” the first “Alien” franchise TV series, which is coming to Hulu in summer 2025. The teaser features an image of Earth reflected in the gleaming black head of a hungry xenomorph, and unveils the tagline for the series, which is sticking in my head, not necessarily in a good way: “Mother Earth is expecting.” It’s no “Whoever wins… we lose,” the classic tagline from “Alien vs. Predator,” but it’s something.
The highly anticipated sci-fi series is created by Noah Hawley, who has prior experience adapting a movie for television with the “Fargo” series. It’s set in the year 2120, two years before the events of the original “Alien.”
Here’s the official logline for the series: “When a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a...

With 2024 quickly reaching an end, FX is preparing everyone for the release of one of its upcoming shows. We're talking about the highly anticipated sci-fi horror series Alien: Earth, and a thrilling new teaser trailer for the show just dropped. While only 42 seconds, this teaser gives us a chilling glimpse of the deadly Xenomorph, which Alien fans will recognize right away. You can check out the teaser above!
Not only does the teaser tease fans of what's to come in the series, but it also reveals a premiere window. We don't have an official release date just yet, but we do know it's coming in the summer of 2025. So that's anywhere between June 20, 2025, and Sept. 22, 2025. Hopefully, the show will receive an early summer release sometime in June or July. I'm sure I'm not the only one eager to see this new series, especially after watching the latest installment in the Alien franchise,...

By all accounts, this has been a pretty damn good year to be a fan of the Alien franchise. The last few months have seen a flurry of activity surrounding Sir Ridley Scott's perfect sci-fi organism, with the release of Fede Alvarez's Alien: Romulus, word of a Romulus sequel already, confirmation of an Alien Isolation sequel, and promising early teases for Noah Hawley's upcoming Alien: Earth series sending xeno Stans into a frenzy. And now FX have just dropped another mouthwatering glimpse at what Hawley and his intrepid crew (Sydney Chandler! Timothy Olyphant! Alex Lawther! Essie Davies!) have been cooking up. Check out the structural perfection — and the hostility — of the latest trailer below:
Now, we may have grown used to that shot of our dear old planet Earth reflected against a salivating xenomorph's bonce in the last few months, and this latest teaser for Alien: Earth...

Our new look at Noah Hawley's TV series "Alien: Earth" is here, and while the teaser trailer is pretty dang brief, it still promises plenty of sci-fi squelchiness and scares in line with the original 1979 Ridley Scott-directed sci-fi horror film classic and subsequent franchise follow-ups.
The show will function as a prequel of sorts, one that its official synopsis describes as revolving around "a young woman and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers" who make a dangerous discovery when an other-worldly vessel crashes on Earth. "As members of the crash recovery crew search for survivors among the wreckage, they encounter mysterious predatory life forms more terrifying than they could have ever imagined," the synopsis continues. The upcoming series stars Sydney Chandler ("Don't Worry Darling"), Alex Lawther ("The End of the F***ing World"), Essie Davis ("Game of Thrones"), and "Justified" star Timothy Olyphant, who we hope will somehow be playing a space cowboy.

In the wake of Alien: Romulus comes the FX/Hulu series “Alien: Earth,” and a new teaser unveiled this morning puts the franchise’s star – the Xenomorph- front and center.
Get ready for the new Alien series to arrive in Summer 2025.
The new teaser also reveals that the series is set in 2120. “When a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat in the sci-fi horror series Alien: Earth. As members of the crash recovery crew search for survivors among the wreckage, they encounter mysterious predatory life forms more terrifying than they could have ever imagined. With this new threat unlocked, the search crew must fight for survival, and what they choose to do with this discovery could change planet Earth as they know it.”

Mark your calendars for Summer 2025 for the premiere of Noah Hawley’s Alien: Earth from FX on Hulu.
This new teaser features the star of the Alien-verse: the Xenomorph, which fans of the franchise also saw in an earlier clip released for select movie-goers who attended screenings of Alien: Romulus. In a video dropped earlier this month from Disney+ and Hulu, little slivers of various shows, including Alien: Earth, were revealed, and glimpses of what’s to come were featured.

On the heels of the response to “Joker: Folie à Deux” (Warner Bros.) on PVOD, “Megalopolis” (Lionsgate), Francis Ford Coppola’s much lower grossing but also much publicized $100 million self-financed film, got a home release that garnered almost zero interest.
“Saturday Night” (Sony) was the other big name release, and landed #6 on both iTunes (ranking by revenue) and Fandango (by transactions) top 10 lists (#4 and #6 respectively; it was #1 for a day at iTunes). It’s not like it was a much bigger hit than “Megalopolis” in theaters or PVOD. Its domestic gross was only $9.5 million, less than $2 million better than Coppola’s film.
“Megalopolis” not making either list is surprising. But what is stunning is it is nowhere to be found among the more than 80 movies listed on their daily list, nor has it since it was released. “Goodrich” (Bleecker Street) with Michael Keaton, which grossed barely over $1 million is #24 Monday.

The approach of Thanksgiving can make it really difficult to get through a work week. Turkey Day is seen by most as a great excuse to do nothing but relax, and most of us want to get the process started a little early by taking a few days off like at Christmas. Everyone is ready for a break, and that names getting through work the week before a little harder.
Knowing how difficult it will be to make it through this week with a short one coming up after, I’ve got a curated list of new TV shows and movies to stream each and every day. Hopefully, it’ll make the waiting for the holiday week a little easier to bear.

With Alien: Rogue Incursion set to scare the pants off of VR fans next month, developer Survios has dropped a new trailer that delves into the details of the game’s story, which is an original storyline featuring rogue Colonial Marine Zula Hendricks, voiced by Emmy Award winner Andia Winslow.
In Alien: Rogue Incursion, when Hendricks receives an Sos from former squadmate Benjamin Carver, she and Davis 01 head to the remote planet of Purdan to investigate. Before they know it, deeply personal stakes emerge to plunge both Zula and Davis deeper into the dark heart of Purdan to expose – and escape – the Xenomorph infestation lurking within.
The Xenomorphs infesting Purdan can intelligently use the environment to find the best angle of attack and appear from anywhere around you. Rogue Incursion will test your nerves and skill as you face off against Xenomorphs. In addition to weapons and gear, your resourcefulness,...
