  • TMZ
[[tmz:video id="0_1wpjioxs"]] Rob Schneider wants to make one thing clear about Harvey Weinstein -- the mogul is no lone wolf, and Rob knows it because he too was sexually harassed by a director. While Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie, Ashley Judd and Rose McGowan have all blasted Weinstein for his behavior -- Rob told us this kind of harassment and abuse also happens to men. He recalled a famous "gross director" making a semi-nude pass at him. Rob

Woodshock – Review

It’s travel time at the vacation wing of the ole’ multiplex yet again. A couple of months ago we explored France in Paris Can Wait, and just a few weeks ago we joined Steve and Rob for a food-filled travelogue in The Trip To Spain. Summer may be over, but it’s not too late to “get away from it all” with another trip….a trip inside your mind. If you’re thinking of “mother’s little helper” then you’re on the right track. Movies about drugs have changed with society over the years. The first flicks were hysterical (in more ways than one) cautionary tales epitomized by the camp classic Reefer Madness. With the counter culture’s rise in the 60’s and 70’s there were more enlightened films like, well Roger Corman’s The Trip. And in the 80’s Cheech and Chong finally took their weed humor

Seth Rogen Just Realized He’s Been Blocked on Twitter by Rob Schneider, and It’s Awkward

Seth Rogen Just Realized He’s Been Blocked on Twitter by Rob Schneider, and It’s Awkward
Seth Rogen is clapping back at fellow comedian Rob Schneider, who appeared to have blocked the funny man on Twitter.

On Saturday, Rogen — who boasts nearly 6 million Twitter followers — posted a screenshot of Schneider’s account, which stated that Rogen was blocked from viewing his tweets and following the elder comedian, with no apparent source of prior beef on the outlet.

“What the f—?!” the slighted 35-year-old wrote.

The Knocked Up actor then followed his exclamatory tweet with another screenshot, this time zooming in on art for Schneider’s comedy Real Rob, which centers on his real life while living

How To Be A Latin Lover Trailer Offers Up Great Comedy Spin

There are a lot of subjects that don’t find their way to film often, if at all, but sometimes the most outlandish ideas can become brilliant offerings.

How to Be a Latin Lover might not turn out to be one of the year’s best, but the trailer gives us hope for a pretty hilarious film.

The film stars Eugenio Derbez and Salma Hayek, with guest players Kristen Bell and Rob Lowe adding to the ensuing hilarity of a truly screwball premise. Plus, the film has appearances by Rob Riggle, Rob Huebel, Rob Corddry, and Michael Cena, which ultimately makes it perhaps the Rob-iest film ever.

The film focuses on Maximo, a man whose dream is to marry rich and capitalizes on that goal. But now, 25 years later, he’s bored and spoiled, gets one hell of a surprise when his 80-year-old wife dumps him.

Now he’s

Criterion Reflections – Beyond the Law (1968) – Es 35

David’s Quick Take for the tl;dr Media Consumer:

In posting this review, I might be giving more time and thought to the merits of Beyond The Law, Norman Mailer’s second venture in pursuit of auteurist credibility, than went into the film’s original conception and construction. As the middle installment of three films that Mailer churned out in a brief dabble as a director, we have a companion piece, maybe even an evil twin, to his first effort Wild 90. That film, released in early 1967, records the imaginary, sloppily performed interplay of three seriously drunk gangsters evading the cops as they’re holed up in a dingy Brooklyn apartment. A few months later, over two nights in October ’67, Mailer and the same pals he recruited for Wild 90 (Buzz Farber and Mickey Knox) show up again for another foray into experiential improv performance art, this time as

The 21 Best TV Episodes of 2016 (So Far)

  • Indiewire
Warning: Spoilers below for the listed shows. “The Americans

“The Magic of David Copperfield V: The Statue of Liberty Disappears” (Episode 8)

Time jumps are a tricky business, especially for a show where every moment matters. And on “The Americans,” you better believe the devil is in the details. So Joe Weisberg and Joel Fields’ choice to jump forward seven months after a particularly tough stretch for everyone’s favorite secret agents was a damn ballsy move — that paid off big time. That being said, the opening of Episode 8 was just as important as its ending, and just as tricky. Told in nearly absolute silence, Phillip’s ride to the airfield with Martha set a stark tone for what was coming, making it all the more believable the Jennings would need a seven-month vacation soon after. A beautiful story told in thrilling, variant rhythms, “The Americans” knows itself so well it

Rob Schneider Shops Self-Financed Sitcom ‘Real Rob’ at MipTV

Rob Schneider Shops Self-Financed Sitcom ‘Real Rob’ at MipTV
Rob Schneider is going the indie auteur route with his latest sitcom, “Real Rob.”

The comedian has self-financed eight half-hour episodes that will be shopped by Toronto-based Tricon Films and Television to international buyers at next month’s MipTV conference in Cannes. Series revolves around the comedian’s life as an entertainer, father of a toddler and husband of a younger Mexican woman, Patricia Azarcoya, who has an independent career as an television producer.

Schneider and Azarcoya co-wrote the episodes, with Schneider directing and producing. The effort grew out of Schneider’s frustration with his experience at CBS in 2012 with a similarly themed sitcom, “Rob.”

Rob” was paired on CBS’ schedule with “The Big Bang Theory,” which gave it a good send off but the show ultimately didn’t hold enough of its lead-in to command a renewal. It was also roundly panned by critics.

After “Rob” was axed, Schneider
