Lucas Delmore, (Toby's Date) turns our to be everything Toby could ever wish for except for one thing, Lucas is a 1500 year old Vampire. I hope there will be a continuation of this movie/season, "Vampires: Brighter in Darkness". It is a vampire/horror in the classical sense in that the terror is not like that of a Halloween/Friday the 13th type. Being a gay man I of course enjoyed the intimate scenes that are tastefully done. I like this film for these reasons, that and some of the tender/tactile/romantic scenes,(all three qualities of which I am a strong adherent of). The ending caught me completely off guard. I was expecting a fairy tale ending..."and they all lived happily ever after". In accordance with your guidelines re: "Spoiler", I will not elaborate further on the ending.
But the ending is such that I would really hope there will be a continuation. I would like to see how this would develop into a really good series for those of us that enjoy this type of entertainment genre.
