Complete mess
28 August 2020 | by Floated2See all my reviews

These type of psychedelics mind trip, conspiracy theory type movies can be interesting and intriguing but Don Peyote doesn't possess those traits.

The film starts off relatively interesting as where we are not sure where it is heading and things seem to pop up but further along the film just trenches off and becomes an unfunny and overly try- hard mess. Scenes become boring, characters come in and out and things don't blend or add up.

The major theory surrounding the film was the 2012 "end of the world" theory and since we know how that happened, it seems relatively pointless and just not as engaging as they probably thought of.

Don Peyote as a film just isn't nearly as funny as it should have been, and what we watched was an overconfusing mess.

Another reviewer mentioned how it was similar to The Hangover plot wise and since we think of it, that is close to quite accurate (although the Hangover was far better, more funnier and concise). Also don't believe the 10 star reviews.
