The film had bad casting IMO of the two main characters, but here they did very well, very strong leads, both of them. And the characters are better written, but it has the same character as the film it follows, but it is an upgrade in every aspect. It is not slow paced and there are no time jumps.
The series has its weak links, many impossible scenarios, shortcuts and easy resolves, but the story as it flows has such a strong grip so you dont tend to concentrate on these flaws. Only in the beginning and the end do the flaws really stand out, but many Hollywood movies and series have much bigger flops in the story. Anyway, I cant wait for the Season 2.

A sequel to a Spanish thriller, this Spanish crime series doesn't take it self too seriously, as seen in the opening caper which involves a truck of hams and a wild escape.
The show focuses on a Sole, played by Asia Ortega Leiva, a young woman finding her own way in the crime world, attempting to emerge from the wing of her boss father.
There are all kinds of crazy heists including a French castle and lots of intrigue with dirty cops, Colombian drug gangs, the Chinese mob, and surprising revelations.
It's well made, nothing too deep, and an enjoyable ride that takes the viewer from Spain to France and Portugal with a finale in Nigeria.

From the first episode, the show grips you and keeps you attached. The storyline is absolutely amazing and keeps you wanting more.
The characters are great with perfect casting.
This show really has the potential of being one of the best shows out there.
I honestly don't Under the hate it's receiving because I think it's a show worth anybody time.
Do i think the show is short? : Yes, I do, I think it could have a few more episodes mostly just so I can watch more of it. It'll also help with some character development. The current characters are absolutely gold.
Loved the end of Season 1 can't wait for Season 2.

... for most of the production, acting can't be terribly faulted... having Asia prancing around lots of times high-heels and thigh-high-skin-tight dresses altogether a different matter... and the ludicrous seventh episode action sequences are nothing short of embarrassing.. who making-watching would approve them
... sure lots of the storyline is dumb, but plot-line-accuracy is not the selling-point of any of these kinds of works... they kept it relatively brief having just seven episodes, that was a smart decision... debate were there to be a 2nd season how many would be watching ended with cancellation of the series... those seeking their Asia Ortega fix need look elsewhere.

First this series is a massive improvement from the film it had more action it's an amazing Spanish show i like it a lot since I understand the language I watched the movie before the series the movie was okay but the show was something else the improvement from the film was shown I hope it gets renewed for another season to see if estrela cousin gets revenge for what the man did and see if sol escapes the police
Overall the series was amazing and it's not based on the Disney movie but its based on the Netflix one sky high the movie . The police chases when they did the robberies we're funny.
