Widower Martin Bohm's wife, Sarah Bohm, died in the twin towers on September 11, 2001. Previously a newspaper journalist, Martin since has worked a series of odd jobs in trying to make sense of his life, which includes caring for his son Jake, who was born on October 26, 2000. Jake was diagnosed as autistic, primarily because he has never uttered a word, and has an aversion to being touched. But Martin begins to believe that there is more to Jake's life than meets the eye. Jake, using a series of numbers, leads Martin to discoveries about a certain equilibrium to the world. Martin may ultimately find out what Jake's grand purpose is, and why Jake was placed on the face of the Earth. Written by Huggo

Great Start
21 April 2012 | by sassychick-879-102613See all my reviews

The premiere gave me goose bumps. I loved it!.. Then the 2nd episode..and all of them after disappointed me. Keifer was great as Jack Bauer, but hes terrible in this.. his over acting..under acting. The kid even gets annoying.. the Child Worker KNOWS the kids a genius but still acts shocked every time he does something genius like. Maybe if they smooshed "Awake" with "Touch", they'd have a GREAT show! My opinion, Keifer needs to act better and the writer needs to step it up with every new episode.. or build more suspense. Having a new scenario in every episode ( the connections), doesn't have enough time to build characters and let us guess, it needs to slow cook like a chili to let all the flavors come out.

I cant see this having a 2nd season. It had such promise!
