Storyline

Bridget is six months sober and starting to get her life back on track when she becomes the sole witness to a professional hit. She flees to New York, telling no one. In New York, Bridget reunites with her estranged twin, Siobhan. Wealthy, pampered and seemingly happily married, Siobhan lives what appears to be a fairy tale life. The identical twin sisters seem to be mending their frayed relationship, until Siobhan disappears overboard during a boat trip the two take together, and Bridget makes the split decision to take on her sister's identity. She discovers shocking secrets, not only about her sister and her marriage, but other secrets as well. Bridget soon realizes she is no safer as Siobhan than she is as herself. Written by Anonymous

Trivia

On May 11, 2012, The CW Network announced the cancellation of Ringer (2011-2012) due to low ratings. Fans of the series did their best to keep it on air by having online petitions on such sites as Twitter.com, Ipetitions.com and Gopetition.com. On Petetionbuzz.com, the series gained well over 10,000 signatures in just a couple of weeks. The petition stated how Ringer was nominated for twelve awards throughout its run and was airing in more than forty countries worldwide, and doing well internationally. The petition also pointed out how fans would be happy to see the show on TV again, even if it were not on The CW. Suggested networks included TNT, AMC, or FX. See more »

Crazy Credits

The title credits utilize special effects in that the "N" in Ringer splits into two opposite pieces symbolizing the twin sisters that are often opposed to each other. The written credits that appear under the title are split but become one piece, symbolizing the sisters taking each other's place to appear as one person. See more »

Best Show I ever watched. Please keep it going.
14 April 2012 | by wsquires-344-218195See all my reviews

My husband and I cannot wait for Tuesday to get here so we can watch Ringer. It is the most suspense show we have ever seen. It is so interesting how Sarah can play both sides, good and bad.We always tape it so we can rewatch it again. We just love Ringer and we hope it will be around for a second season. We hope we can vote to keep it around. Ringer is a show that keeps you wondering what is going to happen next with Andrew and his daughter. Also the climax at the end of each episode is the most exciting part of next week show, My heart is so deep into the show, that it is like my own experience with life. My sister and I are very close with one another that I can relate to the pain that she and I experience with life. Please keep the show going.
