Quotes

Chuck Bartowski: Sarah, I gotta tell you, masquerades really creep me out, okay? It's like Eyes Wide Shut, but you know, not as boring. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Kubrick fan.
Sarah Walker: Chuck, come on. It's just a bunch of socialites wearing masks.
Chuck Bartowski: Yeah. It could be that or a sex-crazed orgy party where they don't want you to see their faces or know their secrets.
Sarah Walker: No. No, I've been to those kinds of parties and it doesn't look anything like this.

Bad parenting in a sitcom - big surprise
29 December 2011 | by Thorned_RoseSee all my reviews

While this episode itself was pretty good, if you remotely care about babies and children, don't bother watching this episode! The 'fail' parenting in this will have you screaming at the TV. And I don't mean putting the baby in some ridiculous dangerous situation in which it's saved from doom at the last possible moment and they go on to live happily ever after. No. I mean, the actual bad stuff - sexualizing breastfeeding: really?! Saying a 4 months old baby is old enough to sleep in their own room: honestly?! Here the writers had potential to go against the normal sitcom grain and actually show some great parenting skills that doesn't normalize stupid parenting practices. But instead we get the same tired old rerun of parents ready to tear their hair out because the Baby. Just. Won't. Sleep. Get some new material people! Really.
