Magpie is a British independent film about an absent young father who returns to town in order to attend his 9 year old son's funeral. His glaring failure as a parent makes his presence an unwelcome one, especially with the boy's mother who struggles with her loss and the lack control she has over the funeral arrangements. After drunkenly stealing the coffin both parents find themselves on the road with two friends. What follows is a journey with no destination... just a desperate desire not to return. Marc Price at it again!
12 January 2018 | by colinthemagpieSee all my reviews

Marc Price known for crating very cheap movies, his claim to fame being 'Colin' a zombie movie made apparently on just £40?

Well he we have it again although better this attempt, a cheap no thrills production with an interesting concept let down by average cinematography with a mixed bag cast.

An improvement from his last film which is quite charming in sections I feel with more experience and budget this director/producer could eventually go places.

5/10 Average for the most part but I can see a faint promise.

Keep at it just stop shaking the camera so much.
