The 50th Golden Globe Awards, honoring the best in film and television for 1992, were held on Saturday January 23, 1993 at the Beverly Hilton. The nominations were announced on December 29, 1992. It amazes me of how long it took for Al Pacino to actually win something worth of his talent and yet somehow actors like Mark Rylance star in one forgettable movie and win right away? Pacino has given great perfomances from Godfather to Scarface to Serpico and beyond and yet this one gave his win? Which although great was it really better than the others?
