Sex & Nudity

  • Brief flashes of female breast nudity. Also frequent cleavage scenes with very low-cut dresses and flashy legs.
  • Multiple scenes where characters begin to have sex (basically foreplay) but cut it off before anything happens.
  • One of the important male characters cheats on his wife constantly with the same woman, having a longtime affair. We see them kissing and making out frequently. Although we don't see naked genitals or breasts, the scenes are passionate. Another male character cheats on his fiancĂ© in a single scene, for a short time. We see them kissing. A woman falls in love with a man other than her non-loving husband. We see the wife and the other man kissing briefly, scenes are not explicit at all.
  • A woman kisses another woman but the scene is not sexual.
  • Mild references

Violence & Gore

  • A Mafiosi character shoots another man in the neck. Shots are fired and there is an impression of some blood. However, the scene is very dark, lacking in detail, and the action is brief.
  • A man hits his boss on the head with a telephone. Mostly comedic, although there is some blood on the man's face afterwards. The two point their guns at each other, but neither of them pull the trigger.
  • A woman smashes a picture frame on a man's face, with the glass shattering onto his forehead. A little bit of blood.
  • A character beats, kicks, and punches another man in his home. The man then appears to have a bleeding nose.

Profanity

  • North of 110 f-words, at least two of which are paired with "mother." About 35 s-words. God's named is misused 20 or so times, five times with "d#@n." Jesus name is taken in vain five or six times. Six or seven uses of various slang references to the male anatomy are used.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A man snorts something from his hand, and a man takes a pill in a couple of scenes (presumably for his heart).
  • People are shown drinking wine, people in a nightclub are shown drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes, people are shown with drinks in their hands at a pool party, people drink wine and some cigarettes in a few scenes, people drink alcohol at a party and make a toast, men are shown smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol, a woman drinks alcohol at a bar and her husband tells her to stop, people are shown drinking champagne, and people drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes in an office celebration.
  • People are shown smoking cigarettes in several scenes in homes and offices and restaurants, a man smokes a cigar in several scenes, and we see an ashtray filled with cigarette butts.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some fairly intense scenes, but most of the film is comical.
