Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • Nothing too over the top as to Gore. Just Halloween type gore in the event of fake blood on faces and both children and adults dressed in costumes!
  • Violence - A "Halloween Hound" ghost shoots smoke out of his mouth and turns animals into stone. A Wizard turns people into toads and monkeys.

  • No Profanity
  • A few "Heck" and one "Crap"

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Adults at a Halloween party are drinking what is called Party Punch but it is said to have alcohol.
  • One adult drinks several cups of punch in a row. Others comment that "he must have had too much punch" when they see him acting strangely.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The only intense scenes are of those involving the Warlock and the Halloween Hound. Nothing that even a 6 year old could not handle!
  • I babysit a 4 year old and she was so scared by the wizard/warlock that she couldn't sleep!
  • The Halloween Hound "eats the souls" of puppies and turns them to stone by breathing black smoke on them.
  • The abundance of supernatural evil powers kept my 8 & 10 year olds awake most of the night.

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The evil Warlock (Harland Williams) is very scary to some children. The Halloween Hound has glowing yellow eyes and is evil and menacing. Supernatural evil spirits are released to haunt the town and turn all the adults into zombies for a short time near the end.
