Life stands still at Ian's place. As the ringleader of his eight twenty-something friends, they congregate nightly in his garage, where any concerns about the outside world are swept away in a flurry of smoke and booze. But there's a thought nagging at Ian's conscience: That there must be more to life than this. He makes the decision to leave the garage and find something else to do, taking his friends with him. What begins as another foray into erasing brain cells turns into the longest night of their lives. For some, it is a night of revelation. For others, it spells disaster as the veil of smoke is lifted and these 'friends' confront each other and their own demons in the dark, real world.
