Cindy Jackson, on death row for her birth mother's murder, petitions for a new trial on the grounds that the FBI director's profile of her at the time was inaccurate and wins her petition. Agent Carter is assigned to look over the FBI file on the case, and assigns a female agent to hold the fort while he is gone. While the hearing on her petition for a new trial is going on, the D.A. receives several threats that appear to suggest someone wants to kill him, and the agents place the family in protective custody.. Cindy's attorney is very confident that he can get her out of jail, and it turns out this was because the state trooper assigned to the case filed a report from a witness who saw a dark-haired white male run from Cindy's birth mother's house just after the murder, but that he had suppressed it later on so that she could be convicted. Since they know that Cindy had manipulated the boys she met into killing their own families, the agents rush to the house where the younger ...

I have been doing a slow binge watch. This is my favorite episode to this point. Forrest Whitaker is such a talented, versatile actor.
