Colleen: I had a past before you planted your flag in me, alright. You're *not* Buzz Aldrin.
Judd Rouscher: Buzz Aldrin was the *second* guy on the moon.
Colleen: Well, you're not him, either.
Featured review
In this episode of Love Bites, Sam finds out his hero is dating his ex, Judd finds a skeleton in Colleen's closet, and the romantic man Julia met on vacation follows her home. This episode is a mixed bag like like most episodes of this show. I really enjoyed the first episode about Sam and Prudence. Sam is heartbroken over his ex, Prudence (Anna Camp). His heartbreak is then made all the worse when he finds out that Prudence is now dating his personal hero and Baseball all-star Dante and that one of the things that made Dante interested in her was all the facts she had learned about him from Sam. This leads Sam to a crossroads where he must choose between his hero and fighting for the girl of his dreams. I won't spoil anything, but I thought it was a cute little story, even if it was somewhat predictable. Anna Camp is super cute, and she does a great job with what she is given. For the most part, Prudence is just the girlfriend for the two male characters to fight over, but she does have a couple of moments that make it seem like there is a little more to her than just surface beauty. And it's a perfect role for Anna Camp. The other two storylines were nothing special I thought the story about Judd and Colleen wanting to buy a house and finding out it was a house Colleen had sex in was kind of off dumb and too over the top. The story about Julia meeting a man on vacation and him following her home had its moments, but it was too all over the place for me to get too invested in. Overall, I enjoyed the episode but many because the first story was so cute and had Anna Camp.
