Trivia

This episode, along with the four episodes that aired after this one, were filmed before Law & Order: LA: Zuma Canyon (2011), the episode where Detective Rex Winters ( Skeet Ulrich ) was killed, and the series was "rebooted" with DDA Ricardo Morales ( Alfred Molina ) rejoining the LAPD and Connie Rubirosa ( Alana De La Garza ) transferring from the Manhattan County DA's office to the LA County DA's office. At first the series producers had decided not to air these five episodes, as ratings were low and they decided to do the aforementioned reboot in an attempt to save the series, they hoped that bringing Law & Order (1990) favorite Alana De La Garza to the series would help bring much needed viewership to the series. However it wasn't enough and upon learning that NBC had decided to not pick up the series for a second season the producers decided to finish off the series by airing the episodes that were originally cut from the series. So despite what some think the writers didn't suddenly get amnesia and forget that they had killed Detective Winters off. See more »

Amazing Dec Rex Winter gets killed in Eps 9 then comes back to life in Eps 18 WOW -- the second coming ?? Now wonder this serious only lasted for One season Just curious why the writers did not recall his death ? I thought it was strange to kill off a main character
