Shotgun Love

I love this movie, must stay and watch until its climax

Well, you know exactly what you get here when you sit down to watch "Shotgun Love" (aka "Sarangi museoweo"). Why is that? Well, because this is a romantic comedy in the way that South Korean comedy delivers romantic comedies, and it is no secret that it is something they do well.

On that account, then it could be said that "Shotgun Love" is a bit generic, true. And that is rightfully correct, because "Shotgun Love" follows that well-established formula of how-to-make-a-romantic-comedy that has been used over and over in the South Korean cinema. But it still works. And believe me, "Shotgun Love" is an enjoyable and funny movie. Plus it also has a good storyline with a big heart.

The storyline told in "Shotgun Love" is one that proves to be every bit as likable as it was enjoyable and entertaining. It is a storyline that has laughs, and at the same time it is a storyline that has a profound and good story.

And the movie is really brought to life by some great performances, especially the male lead, Chang Jung Lim (playing Sang-Yeol), was outstanding in his performance in "Shotgun Love". His female opposite is Gyu-ri Kim (playing So-yeun), whom also performed well enough. I must admit that it was really funny to have Ahn Suk-hwan (playing the tent restaurant owner) in the movie, because his character was just a blast.

"Shotgun Love" is a feel-good romantic comedy, and it is a movie that offers wholehearted entertainment. As such, I can warmly recommend you sit down to watch the 2011 movie from writer and director Rain Jung, if you get the opportunity.
