Fête du jubilée de la reine d'Angleterre, le cortège: La reine (1897)
This French film from the Lumiere Brothers once again has their filmmakers set up in the street with a camera. This time out the camera is placed a little higher than the street to capture a parade that is going on with several people march down the street as well as a few others on their horses. Once again, there's certainly nothing ground-breaking going on and there's nothing too special but for an actuality film it's at least entertaining. The cinematography is actually quite good and we're given some very good things to look at including the soldiers on their horses. You get a clear look at the outfits being worn as well as a good look at the crowd watching.
