Trivia

Smith's new title of Reichsmarschall actually outranks Himmlers title of Reichsfuhrer even though Himmler is his boss. Herman Goering was the only person to hold the Reichsmarschall title and he was named Hitlers successor after Rudolph Hess, the Deputy Fuhrer fled to England. See more »

Goofs

The series and its source material suggests that area of the United States left to minorities and other "undesirables" is a vast wasteland. In fact, the area shown on the maps in the series contains much of the most fertile land in the US, with Eastern Colorado and portions of Montana having excellent farmland. See more »

An amazing adaptation of the novel!
29 January 2015 | by howhandySee all my reviews

The pilot episode was exceptional. It held my attention and made me believe in such an alternate history.

I have read the book, and although it is different, it is an incredible adaptation. If the book was turned into a show without any edits, it would be far too complicated and very hard to enjoy (although the book is incredible).

The acting, story, and visuals are spot on and only intensified what I had imagined when I read the book. When I first read the book, I had hoped for a movie to be made from it, but a show will be a much better pace for such an though-provoking and intelligent story.

I want more episodes!!
