As things are turning around for the city, people must face a disaster of epic proportions. They are dealing with the prospect of losing the people of New Orleans as they turn into the city's walking dead.
A group of Jewish young adults are in for a Festival of Frights. With the help of a Rabbi, they deduce that they are being targeted because they have violated Judaic law and that their only chance of survival is to embrace their faith.
Besides the obvious scene recreation and clips used from the original Night of the Living Dead, this movie is just one big homage to the 60s classic. Several characters are named after cast/crew members of the original Night of the Living Dead (Duane/Duane Jones, Judith/Judy O'Dea & Judith Ridley, Russell/Russ Streiner, Keith/Keith Wayne, Karl/Karl Hardman, Kyra/Kyra Schon, Marilyn/Marilyn Eastman) and a few others are named after characters (Judith/Judy, Karen, Benjamin/Ben). During the cemetery scene approximately 18 min and 20 seconds into the film you can clearly see the entire body waist up of a guy in sunglasses and a white shirt holding a boom mic and standing directly behind the two character in full view of the camera. He is so noticeable that he could easily be mistaken for a character standing behind them, but then you realize he's actually just a boom mic operator holding the boom mic which is also in full view of the camera. The only reason I can think of that someone would rate this movie above a 1 is because they personally know someone who worked on the project. The writing is cliche, the make up is terrible, the acting is horrendous. Can't find one thing to like about this movie. Just dumb.
