It's election season, and in the midst of a tight campaign, an incumbent New Jersey senator's campaign manager falls ill with liver failure and temporary paralysis. Cuddy pushes House to add a female doctor to his team by hiring brilliant third-year medical student Martha Masters in Thirteen's absence. House and the team are wary of the young doctor's lack of experience and medical perspective, but are forced to give their new by-the-book teammate a chance to prove herself. After the campaigning senator makes a surprising announcement, House and the team look to the candidate to find clues about the patient's condition. Meanwhile, Foreman learns that Taub has a past connection to Masters, and in an effort to save his patient's life, House must make a critical decision that may compromise his relationship with Cuddy.
Did You Know?
Taub: Hate to steal the spotlight from Small Wonder over here. Referencing the 1985-89 syndicated TV series about an engineer who builds an android child, VICI (aka Vicki) and brings "her" home to meet the family. They keep her, and try to pass her off as their adopted daughter, while Vicki continues to learn and develop and become more human. See more
Masters wears an actual, three-quarter length lab coat, such as you wear when doing lab work. Since you are mostly working at tables, fume hoods and such, there is little risk of spills on the legs in a lab. Doctors however, such as her team mates, use knee-length or even full length lab coats since patients spill fluids everywhere. See more
Dr. Eric Foreman
You're arguing Dugan's politics are a sign that he's mentally compromised?
Dr. Robert Chase
No. His tactics. He's most likely the one who leaked it. And all the commentators are saying Anderson will catch a major backlash.
