Eliot has turned Hardison into a warrior; now, it is Parker's turn to teach him new skills. As a child in the foster system, Parker learned how to boost cars. This skill set is necessary to help a new client accused of stealing a used truck which, unbeknownst to the client, had been cloned. Bill Engvall plays Duke Penzer, rival of honest Art's Car Sales. Nate gets ready to make his opening gambit: to steal Penzer's baby, (racing car) Veronica. This prompts Duke to steal Nate's baby (Sophie) and the chess game begins. The fun-time car boost duo infiltrates Lefty's boost crew while Eliot introduces the Salvadorans. Parker's big heart wants to protect Lefty's mutt, the last vestige of who Parker used to be. Will the crew be able to play a few EMPs and pull off the con, while giving a young girl a new life?
Did You Know?
On the side of the race car ("Veronica"), is a sign that reads "Powered by Ford." Though this obviously refers to the Ford Motor Company, it is interesting as most of what the Leverage team does is, in a manner of speaking, "Powered by [Nate] Ford." See more
When Elliot is delivering the load of cars, they say "Hand over the keys." Then when the alarms go off, Pinzer uses the keys to disarm the alarms. The cars were boosted, so there never should have been any keys. See more
Damn it! Parker, where'd you learn to drive?
Before I stole cars, I was a getaway driver.
Before? You started stealing cars when you were 12!
