Interesting enough

The nice thing about 'Mike and Molly' is in Mellissa McCarthy and Billy Gardell you have to actors who normally would probably be the comic support being the leads, and they spark off of each other very well.

It's a well written pilot, with some good laughs. I wasn't keen on the supporting cast though, I thought their characters seemed rather 2D in comparison.

Although he didn't write it, Mark Roberts is very much from the Chuck Lorre style of sitcom writing, so the script is full of low brow sex related jokes, that cheapen this potentially good show.
