Best episode of the series
17 October 2011 | by ryonnaeonnSee all my reviews

There has always been little bad to say about Breaking Bad, but "Crawl Space" hits the audience with such emotion and drama I wouldn't hesitate to say it's a perfect episode. We see more development in characters, including Saul's compassion, the gulf between Walt and Jesse, and Gus' ruthlessness. Cranston proves why he's earned three consecutive Emmy awards, turning in perhaps the most compelling, honest, emotional, and simply phenomenal performances I've seen in my life (television and cinema). The action rises and rises, building to the best last five minutes on television you'll ever see. The directing, cinematography, acting, and music mesh together to become simply perfect. This could easily have been a season finale, but there are two more episodes that have quite the bar to meet.
