At 00:16:14, it is said, "Russians have no love with Ukrainians. If they are attacked by a weapon from that country, it could mean all at war." (machine translated). In view of ongoing Ukraine-Russia war, it rather gives an insight that Russians had been looking for a war with Ukraine ever since (this is a 2011 film), and this NATO membership issue just fitted their game.

Goofs
Lila describes the EMP bomb used at the start of the film as an 'Electoral Magnetic Pulse weapon' instead of an Electro-Magnetic Pulse weapon.

Flying saucer recycled

A flying saucer once crashed in the Soviet Union; a few decades later, villains want to exploit the bits and pieces of alien technology to create weapons and make the occasional terrorist attack when they're bored on a Tuesday afternoon. Enter Xena (Sarah Brown) and Lara Croft (Michelle Lee), or at least that's what they look like, kick the s**t out of the baddies and blow up half of the Ukrainian location. Adrian Paul meanwhile is busy clarifying who is behind the conspiracy.

Ummm, yeah, right: it's silly, no denying, but it has its amusing moments. An action flick I'd consider watching again some time. It gives aliens another good reason to avoid this barbarian planet, though. Earthlings find advanced technology, and all they can think of is super-weapons? Give me something new. Voted 5/10, still.
