Storyline

In a near future, in a world where man co-exists with the machine in harmony, a human is assigned with the task of delivering a precious package to its owner, somewhere in the Russian capital. However, greed will soon get in the way, as the wealthy family's robotic housekeeper takes the blame for a crime he didn't commit. The Russian Police is determined to catch the assassin while the blood-stained gift is still missing. Was the box's content worthy of murder? Written by Nick Riganas

Watch for CGI
24 June 2014 | by dmitrykusanovSee all my reviews

It was very easy for me to be dragged into the world of sci-fi Russia. Mixtures of CGI and old fashioned Moscow was something worth watching for sure. However, there was "too much information" on the other hand, as a short film. As there is "high fantasy" and "low fantasy," we can say that the sub genre of this film is "low sci-fi". And since it is based on our real world, the question of asking "how?" was inevitable. For instance, I found my self getting interested in how Russia (or could it be Soviet still? Lots of questions) became a Robo-tech super nation rather than its main theme, "Gift" To conclude, I wanted to watch this in 90 minutes film.
