Storyline

After a beloved king vanishes, his ruthless wife seizes control of the kingdom and keeps her beautiful 18-year-old stepdaughter, Snow White, hidden away in the palace. But when the princess attracts the attention of a charming and wealthy visiting prince, the jealous Queen banishes the girl to a nearby forest. Lily Collins auditioned for Snow White in Snow White and the Huntsman (2012), but lost to Kristen Stewart (it's thought that Stewart having an affair with director Rupert Sanders to get the role cost Collins the part). Ironically, Sam Claflin auditioned for the Prince in Mirror Mirror, but lost the role and instead got to be cast as the prince in Sanders' film. Collins and Claflin later starred together in Love, Rosie (2014).

When the Queen is getting her beauty treatment, she gets the brown feces of lovebirds put on her face. Lovebirds' feces range in color from light green to white in the real world. But the movie is set in a fantasy world.
