Trivia

Dale destroys his kitchen in a rage after finding out the bad news. The shot was recorded in one take since there was no time to reset the scene exactly the way it was. Also, he accidentally ripped the oven door off. See more »

Quotes

Pastor Barry: Jesus had no time for hypocrites and their empty religions. His heart broke when he would see the people who were crushed and beaten down by life. He loved them then, and He loves us now; all of us who have made mistakes... lost our way.

This movie is a real inspiration.

There are may things I like about this movie. The first being, it was dramatic without using profanity, or sexual innuendo every five minutes. Second, it's set in modern day so you can relate to the events and struggles of the characters. Third, the outcome was unexpected; a welcomed change from the movies I've seen before. I hate movies that use the same old tired formulas. Where you know whats going to happen before it does. The acting was great. I was really drawn into the story. There were funny parts, sad parts, dramatic, "on the edge of my seat" parts, I really enjoyed it. And the fact that it was made by volunteers with no budget makes me a witness to a true miracle of a movie.
