Storyline

The cop dynasty family of Harvard Law School graduate Jamie Reagan proudly attends his graduation from the New York police academy presided over by his father, Commissioner Frank Reagan, and his grandfather, retired Commissioner Henry Reagan. Jamie's brother, former Iraq veteran and current NYPD Detective Danny Reagan, cleverly makes the best of his sole clue, a prototype doll, to find and liberate a kidnapped Latino girl, Teresa Campos. Alas, Danny blatantly breaks procedure violating the rights of prime suspect Donald Banse. A conviction thus seems impossible to obtain for Danny's sister, Erin Reagan-Boyle in the D.A.'s office, unless new, non-poisoned evidence can be obtained. Jamie is approached by FBI agents to succeed his late brother as a secret informer on the Blue Templars, a legendary NYPD vigilante order. Written by KGF Vissers

Goofs

When Danny & King are at the abduction site, there is a shot of them talking and King's tie is blowing far over his shoulder. In the next shot, it is perfectly placed back where it should be. The time frame between both shots is so short that there is no way King could have fixed his tie. See more »

Pilots are usually made cheaply
27 September 2018 | by stuart-788-670704See all my reviews

Obviously there are some reviews that are horrific regarding the pilot.

Unless specifically requested or major changes are made between the pilot being canned & episodes bought, the budgets are (most often) paid for by individual(s) - thus the cheap "feel" to them.

They are made, then sent to companies (networks, steaming services, etc.) for the purpose of selling the idea & then getting orders for season(s). At this point, final cast changes can be made, & then production values are BLATANTLY obvious - i. e. The character of Nikki is changed for good & danny's partner changes (get used to this).

At any rate, the point is to NOT place ANY value in pilots. They will most often ALWAYS Abe noticeably different - anyone who says the pilot & then calls out all the failures - is insane.

I'm glad I didn't treat Seinfeld that way. Haha. Geeeeeeeeezous!
