The wine cellar review
23 November 2010 | by dominickinnairdSee all my reviews

I saw this film at the Action on film festival in 2010, it won an award for its soundtrack I think? It is a fantastically weird and dark film, well directed, with a most interesting style that I cant quite put my finger on. The film score is like a musical masterpiece. It uses unusual techniques to produce moods and feelings within the film, I personally enjoyed the film and its unfamiliarity in style. The strange music can be embraced easily and the viewer is left pondering the story as it unfolds slowly but gracefully. This is very much the kind of film that will mean different things to different people. I am sure it will not please everyone but even if the narrative is not your kind of thing, you can somehow respect the weirdness and the superb use of sound. If you want to see something unique and different have a look at this film.
