The action now takes place miles away from the original location and partly in broad daylight, giving the film an entirely fresh yet disturbing new reality. The infection has left the building. The origins of the demonic outbreak are explained in the graphic novel "[REC]: Historias Ineditas" (Untold Stories), released alongside "Génesis" in Europe. See more »
And what exactly are you dressed up as?
As Sponge John.
That would be Sponge Bob?
No. Well, you see, there was a copyright problem, and now the costume is called Sponge John. We are talking about a character that's got nothing to do with the one you're talking about. I don't want any trouble later on.

Please don't even THINK about watching REC 3. What a huge disappointment! This movie is more like a ridiculous zombie comedy than a horror or a thriller. I mean, at some point two guys grab some knight shields and armors from a church and go out to attack the "zombies" like that (the infected behave like zombies in this one)...I even thought the director was different in this one but no, it's the same guy. I don't know what happened :S All I can say is, this is the first movie in years that I have walked out of. I'm giving it a 0/10. Do NOT waste your money or time on this movie. And to think I was excited to watch it...
