Quite Touching
I took one point off because I too found the Deja/Malik story rather tiresome. About all I can say is I felt sorry for the guy, chasing a Harvard education with all that on his plate. Most of the episode involves Rebecca getting fed up with Nicky's complaining about how miserable he is and not able to do anything about. He wants to see Sally, the Woodstock girl who "deflowered " him, but he has not courage. So Rebecca decides he needs to put up or shut up. She and Miguel take the address, and put Nicky in the back seat, and go see Sally. I thought that the scenes in her house were a masterpiece of creepiness. Sally turns out to be pretty cool and rather unhappy. It's the old day to day simplicity that pushes people apart without their really knowing it. Sally's husband is one of a kind, for sure. There is an interesting conclusion.
Great episode. Go Nicky go!
I'm so happy Nicky got his happy ending. He deserves it. How unexpected was this?! This show always makes me cry. I love how Miguel and Rebecca love each other so much. It's just beautiful.

I'm a ball or emotions. Beautiful episode about love an second chances.
So happy for Nicky! He deserved his happy ending too. So Glad he has it. Miguel and Rebecca love are beautiful I wasn't sure on them at first but now they're story has grabbed me. They love each other so much it was nice having an episode more focused on them. All this paralleled with Deja's first love made this a great episode.
Happy for Nicky

Boring
Terrible storyline. This was a complete snooze fest. The writers are just grasping at straws . Anyone rating this high is either paid or delusional. The dinner scene was just awful and uncomfortable.

Rating the Nicky half of it a 5, ZERO for borefest Deja
As unrealistic as it probably was, the Nicky portion of the episode was great. His character has developed and I love the friendship that has blossomed between him, Rebecca and Miguel. It's not unimaginable for people, even those content with their lives, to think "What could have been?" It was also nice to finally see Rebecca taking Miguel's feeling into consideration. We only see flashbacks of her and Jack, but her story with Miguel, while different, should be interesting too. It's obvious that Miguel loves her and she loves him, even though it's a calmer, more "mature" thing than what she felt when she first met Jack.
As far as Deja, who cares and why was she brought into the show? Her useless character wasn't enough so they brought the useless boyfriend too. What a waste of airtime!
