Plot Summary

Dr. Lambert, director of the Gilbert Institute for the deaf, is killed by a bomb in his sports car, driving home after a benefit attended there by Gil's mother Betty and wife Sarah. The team soon suspects it's about a $500,000 grant to be awarded by a jury chaired by Betty's protégé, professor Julia Holden, who becomes the fatal victim of an indoor bomb. Grant candidates included Julia's frustrated assistant, Michael Bowman, who was excluded, and her new British lover, Sean Wyatt. Written by KGF Vissers

Edit
Trivia Phyllis Frelich (Betty Grissom) won a Best Actress Tony award for the 1980 stage version of "Children of a Lesser God", while Marlee Matlin (Julia Holden) won a Best Actress Oscar award for the film version, Children of a Lesser God (1986). See more »
Goofs When Mrs. Grissom asks Sara about Julia Holden, the interpreter says "Julia" right before she fingerspells "Julia". She does not sign her name sign either, and since this is the first time Julia is mentioned, there is no way the interpreter could have known whom she would be talking about. See more »
