Storyline

When a man is found by the roadside with oddly distributed burns, which ultimately kill him by infection, resulting from electrocution, Lagnston comes up with an amateur chair execution theory, soon confirmed by new, fatal victims. While road cameras help identify the truck they were dumped from, Greg solves the mystery that they have nothing in common, thanks to his knowledge of early mob-controlled las Vegas. Andrew Howard as a South African
21 January 2011 | by jjlacaSee all my reviews

As an ex-South African who has been living in Los Angeles for over 24 years, I thought Andrew Howard did an outstanding job depicting a South Arican, so I was curious to see if he is South African. Apparently not - born in Cardiff, Wales, without any mention of his having spent time in South Africa at all. So how did he know to use the term "oke" when referring to the unidentified man to whom he said he had sold his truck? This is only a term a South African would know and I don't think I have ever heard it used in a non-South African show which depicts South Africans.

Good job, oke!
