- Open with Liz and Jenna waking downtown. A construction worker makes lewd comments which Liz thinks are directed at Jenna. When he says he was talking about Liz, Jenna explains that now that Liz has a boyfriend and is more confident, men will start to notice her more often.
Jack and Avery excitedly tell Liz they will be having a boy. Liz makes a comment that the child will have an "old dad," since Jack is 50.
Jenna comments to Liz that things seem to be running smoothly even without Kenneth. We see that a shadowy figure in a CBS page outfit is sneaking around the office. Dot Com and Tracy tell Liz that since he missed the birth of his first two children for two very legitimate reasons -- "cooking a French bread pizza and forgot" -- he'll be locking himself in his office until Angie goes into labor.
A video from editing is late and Pete wants Liz to be the one to go down there and get it. The editors realize they are powerful and always treat Pete like crap when he goes to their office. Liz plans to use her new feminine wilds to her advantage.
Liz finds Jack on her couch. He is officially depressed about Liz' "old dad" comment and is concerned he won't be able to impart wisdom on his unborn son. He must find a way to guide his son from beyond the grave. The fire alarm goes off. Tracy is worried about leaving his office but Dot Com and Grizz promise they will stay close.
Outside Tracy has a grab on what appears to be Grizz' shirt. All of a sudden he finds himself on a bus holding the shirt of a different person. At the exact moment we see Tracy drive off Angie calls Dot Com's phone to say she's gone into labor.
Cut to Angie with Dr. Spaceman: "I've already administered the epidural, so would you like one as well?"
Jack sits in front of a camera and stats to give his son advice "either from beyond the grave or because I am in the grip of insanity." He talks about the Donaghy family history and his own biography: "I once hit a standup triple off Fidel Castro. . . The son 'You're So Vain' was in fact written by me."
Liz goes down and talks to head editor Ritchie (Paul Giamatti), an Islanders fan and Civil War reenactor. She puts on the charm and he pushes the TGS tape to the top of the list.
Tracy grabs the first taxi he sees and tells the driver that he has no money but needs a ride to the hospital. The driver tells him to get in and once inside Tracy realizes he is inside the Cash Cab. Tracy must continue to answer trivia questions correctly or be kicked out of the car.
Ritchie brings the TGS tapes upstairs and he and Liz share a long hug. After he leaves Frank tells Liz that Ritchie's been telling people they are sleeping together. Liz is furious but Pete tells her she must take one for the team.
Tracy answers the first two Cash Cab questions by unbelievably roundabout ways that deal with his personal life.
During Jack's video Kenneth sneezes from behind a curtain. He was cleaning Jack's terrace and got stuck in the office. Jack tells him they will be fine without Kenneth and sends him away. Jack tells his son this was a test for Kenneth "that will either return him here where he belongs or end in his death."
After Brian Williams and Andrea Mitchell make fun of Liz in the hallway she heads to the editing office and confronts Ritchie. He tells her he only lied to impress, Donna, a member of his staff he has a thing for. Liz agrees to make him a deal.
Angie calls Kenneth demanding to know where Tracy is. Kenneth looks over at a lifesized cutout of Tracy he has in his apartment.
Tracy nails several more questions in the Cash Cab: "The Lazy Susan was invented by Thomas Jefferson. I know because I'm a decedent of Thomas Jefferson and Lazy Susan."
Jacks continues his video: How to throw a punch, camouflage, how to make love to woman, etc.
As Angie's labor progresses Kenneth shows up wearing a Tracy mask. It seems to fool the drugged-up Angie.
Ritchie dumps Liz within earshot of Donna. During the breakup she mentions Ritchie's fully loaded Tercel, multiple trips to Canada and love of unicorns. After Liz leaves Donna walks right over.
After struggling to get out of the Cash Cab Tracy shows up in time for the birth of his daughter. He turns to Kenneth and lets him know he doesn't know what he could do without him.
Just as Jack finishes his video Kenneth shows up and says he wants to return to NBC. He will re-apply to the page program.
Jack visits Tracy in the hospital. Tracy warns that you can't predict what happens in life and Jack's phone rings. It is Avery saying that they are actually going to have a girl. "I hate to say I told you so," Tracy says. "So welcome to Miami."
