The film was essentially filmed within three days. Primary shooting with Kaira (Sara) alone was filmed within two days. As for the bulk of the scenes with Juan (Eric) and Kaira, they had to be filmed all within one day since Juan had flown from Los Angeles, CA to Modesto,CA to be in the project. So most scenes were filmed on a Saturday, filmed within 11 hours and then Juan was taken back to the bay area that evening to be able to fly out the next day.
Tom Massey, one of the writer's and actors of the film (he plays a paramedic at the end), tragically passed away two weeks before the film's release. He was, however, able to see the near-finished work before he passed. It was the final product Tom and Tony made together, and the end of PPZ Productions.
For the bathtub scene, Kaira (Sarah) spent 1-2 hours in the water-fulled tub (which quickly turned to cold water) in only a strapless bra and underwear.
During the filming of the orchard scene with Kaira and Juan, the temperature was around 90 degrees. Both actors were sweating profusely, with Kaira mentioning that sweat was "dripping down" her back.
