Storyline

Priya and Leonard ask Howard and Bernadette to join them for a couples only dinner at the Koothrappalis' apartment. Amy sees the invitation as Priya's way of conquering and dividing Bernadette especially from Penny. But Amy also sees it as an opportunity for Bernadette to be a mole to feed false information about how great Penny's life is to Priya and Leonard, while gathering intel about Priya and Leonard to feed back to Penny. Bernadette, who doesn't like to lie and doesn't do it very well, doesn't like the idea, but she agrees, with Amy to coach her via text messaging throughout the evening. Will Bernadette be able to hold up the ruse for the entire evening? Meanwhile, Raj is thinking about testing a new drug to help with his social anxiety disorder. And Sheldon develops a new game: three-man chess. Written by Huggo

Quotes

Bernadette Rostenkowski: Did I tell you Priya invited me and Howard to have dinner with her and Leonard?

Amy Farrah Fowler: No it's not. It's a strategic maneuver. Leonard's new girlfriend is testing Bernadette's loyalty to you and the group. That bitch is crafty.

I've been studying up on the psychological phenomenon known as projection. Sigmund Freud explained it as the mental mechanism by which a person attributes to others the very qualities he or she despises, and cannot confront, in themselves. I've also been learning about passive-aggressive behavior. This is language and actions that are abusive but cleverly hidden behind a thin veil of civility. For example, the first two sentences of this vanity card. See more »

Bernadette tries to take one for the team, and Raj tries to improve his social standing with women on "The Wildebeast Implementation" ep of "The Big Bang Theory"
15 November 2011 | by See all my reviews

In a nutshell on this last season ep of "The Big Bang Theory": Bernadatte gets invited with Howard to have dinner with Leonard and Priya. Amy edges her on in order to have her spy on them for pertinent info even though Leonard's ex Penny feigns nonchalantly. Meanwhile, Raj-feeling left out due to his not having a partner-goes to Sheldon's apartment to tell him of some pills that would help him socialize with women. So they go to a coffee shop and it seems Raj is being successful talking to a pretty someone. Unfortunately...I'm not going to reveal what happens so if you haven't seen this episode, I definitely suggest you do if your a big fan like I am. So on that note, "The Wildebeast Implementation" is another highly recommeded ep of "The Big Bang Theory".
