Still great even with so many regulars gone
30 January 2018 | by LorenBiegSee all my reviews

So much has changed since the first season of Friday Night Lights. So many great, great characters have gone, but the writers continue to give us new people to care about. Every season starts off heavier on setup than on pay off. This season is no different. Landry and Julie are leaving for college, and Tim is in prison. So, I'm not sure where this season is going, but Coach Taylor is in top form, finding talent in young men they don't see in themselves. Gotta say though, I miss Riggins and Saracen every episode.
