Trivia

The episode title, "In-A-Gadda-Da-Leela," is a double reference, both to the character Leela and Iron Butterfly's song "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida," whose title is a garbled transcription of the original lyrics "In the Garden of Eden," which is a theme of this episode. See more »

Quotes

Philip J. Fry: Leela should have come back by now. I wonder if she's okay?
Bender: You never ask me if I'm okay. I'm feeling a little neglected here.
Philip J. Fry: I'm sorry, Bender. How are you?
Bender: Shut up!

Just started watching Season 5. Super disappointed. Especially at the terrible ending.
13 March 2011 | by clarkkerr0405See all my reviews

Just started watching Season 5 on Netflix after not having the time to watch the broadcasts. I'm very disappointed at the noticeable drop in quality, both in the animation and the writing. The plot was funny, but the ending ruined the entire episode. It was so terrible, that it ruined a bit of my love for Futurama. I'm a guy that used to "Like" everything Futurama related in order to keep the show going, but with episodes like this I'm better off just re-watching the old episodes and talking with my friends about how disappointing it was that Futurama got canceled again. Futurama staff, you guys need to invite me into the studio to apologize to me for ruining my night with these terrible premier episodes...
