Two decades after the freak alien invasion that nearly destroyed mankind a new threat emerges. This Alien mothership is more than twice the size as the last one and once again, the world's armies must band together to save the world. Do they have enough firepower or will this battle change and will aliens take over?
One of three movies debuting in 2016 featuring the word "resurgence" in the title. One is a tele-movie called Resurgence (2018) which is scheduled to have its broadcast premiere December 31, 2016. Today, you will once again be fighting for our freedom... Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution... but from annihilation. An extended version of the movie exists and will be released later after its initial theatrical release. Director Roland Emmerich has said: "It's only about seven minutes longer. It's interesting for fans to see which scenes we cut, although I like it when movies are short." A longer special edition of the original Independence Day was also released, which ran almost two-and-a-half hours at 145 minutes with the extended cut running for 154 minutes. See more »
The robot from Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy is here. I love that film! He is still depressed too. Chinese products, Chinese technology, Chinese noodles, Chinese actors. I love that the studio is part-owned by the Chinese now and the rider orders the directors to cast a Chinese person (like Kong, like Doctor Strange etc.) because what the boss says goes! After all, like everyone else I do most of my shopping at the Chinese dollar store Wal-mart. It shows how important and the center of the universe our planet is. The aliens having been USA slapped in the original have gone back light years and have come back to Earth, yes Earth, because planets like ours are so rare. OK, the story is contradicting itself with the whole they vacuumed many other planets, but anyway. We put a station on the moon but hey it rotated and was on the wrong side when the aliens returned so we did not know what to do when an alien arrives.
