Cockroach

Nice little film but for the life of me I have no idea what the moral, theme or message is of it. The film's slogan is "Love finds a way back." Alright but how?

I felt bad for both Charlie and his bride but she never realizes it's him. She doesn't realize it's him reincarnated as a bug hence there is no sense of closure or anything coming full circle. Just right back where we started from: tragedy.

I would've done it to where she knew it was Charlie but was mad him or realizing they couldn't be together he took his own life again.

There is just so much left to be desired from this rather lite enjoyable little film. Again, there is no sense of closure or coming to terms with death or grief. Just plain tragedy.

How would you have done it differently or did you like and why?

A tragic love story. Simple, in clothes of dark comedy, reminding "The Ghost" and proposing a bizarre hypothesis, in which the reincarnation is used in interesting manner. The source of fascination - the animation. And the traits of story. So, a profound nice short film.
