Storyline

When Castle appeared on his show, comedian and TV star, Bobby Mann asks Castle for help, claiming to fear for his life. A few hours later, he dies from cardiac arrest. Castle, suspecting foul-play, implores Medical Examiner Lanie taking a closer look at the autopsy report. Running more that the standard tests, a crafty poisoning requiring knowledge of Bobby's medication is discovered. The night before, he had visited his first wife, Barbara, and later, he went to a Comedy Club. He was also blackmailed with pictures of him and an intern, but by whom? Castle enjoys a hot affair with actress Ellie Monroe, who wants the part of Nikki in the upcoming Heat Wave movie. More studio politics increase the suspects lists while alibis are checked.
