Slick Spanish indie with some great fight choreography

Warning: Spoilers
STUNT GAMES is a promising little action indie from Spain. The main actors are real-life twins who play brothers trying to break into the movies. One day they're busy on a film shoot when they find themselves attacked by gangsters, which means they have to use their martial arts skills to fight back.

Bear in mind that this is a very low budget production, consisting of little more than a camera filming a handful of actors in abandoned settings. The direction isn't great and I didn't like the bleached-out camera-work utilised in parts of the movie. The acting and story are completely forgettable. However, what this film does boast is some top-notch fight choreography and even a little free running.

The fights are shot in a slick kind of way and there are plenty of stuntmen willing to put themselves in danger to capture some splendid shots. This reminded me of Thai action cinema like BANGKOK KNOCKOUT or perhaps MERANTAU; martial arts fans will enjoy it.
