Blue Bloods Season 9 Episode 10 Review: Authority Figures

Frank was embroiled in yet another NYPD controversy on Blue Bloods Season 9 Episode 10 but this time it turned into a different family's affair.

I'm not about to defend people who were stealing, but Lt. Harvey's ploy was pretty blatant.

He had a sneaker truck with a huge basketball logo "break down" on the corner and then had the driver walk away and leave the truck unlocked.

I had the biggest problem with the unlocked part. It would have felt less like a set up if someone had broken the lock on the door.

I know Lt. Harvey was using this to round up gang members, but would the same thing work to round up white collar criminals if they left an open wine truck on an upper East-side corner?

It was no surprise that Garret saw this as a blow to community policing and Sid adamantly defended Lt. Harvey, but

Friday Ratings: CBS Dominates With ‘MacGyver’ And ‘Hawaii Five-o’ Surging

  • Deadline
CBS came out on top in the Friday ratings race, with MacGyver, Hawaii Five-o and Blue Bloods all scoring big numbers, helping the network to an easy victory on the night.

Starting at 8 Pm, MacGyver got the night rolling, its episode up one-tenth of a point among 18-49, topping its previous two. Then Hawaii Five-o stepped in with an equally strong 0.8/4, 7.39 million showing, holding onto the previous gains.

Blue Bloods Season 9 Episode 9 Review: Handcuffs

  • TVfanatic
A no-win situation for Eddie and her partner quickly escalated into a case of shock and awe on Blue Bloods Season 9 Episode 9.

The whole incident left me pondering if Frank was right, wrong, or just turning into a grumpy old man?

Eddie and the other police walked away when a bunch of thugs taunted them and I agreed with Eddie's perspective on the situation...

They wanted us to engage, begging us to take the bait. We felt the smartest move was to just ignore them.

Eddie Permalink: They wanted us to engage, begging us to take the bait. We felt the smartest move was to just... Added: November 30, 2018

Jamie told her they could have written summonses or put the guys in cuffs, and they could have, but what would have been the point?

At best these guys would have been back out on the street in a matter of hours.

‘King Kong’s Leading Man: Broadway’s Eric William Morris Talks Growling Apes, Snarling Critics & Life As A Squip

  • Deadline
When Broadway’s King Kong opened earlier this month, critics did their best to one-up Beauty on how to kill a Beast. Big, hairy gloom might have settled over the cast following the show’s Nov. 8 opening, particularly after the publication of a New York Times pan that was unorthodox, if not downright bizarre. In place of a traditional review, Times critics Ben Brantley and Jesse Green published their back and forth conversation, taking turns lobbing brickbats. (“Ugh,” said Green; “aaaaaaaaargh,” responded Brantley)

Escaping the crossfire was Eric William Morris, the talented and appealing actor who plays Carl Denham, the 1930s-era New York movie director who heads off to Skull Island, along with unknown actress Ann Darrow (Christiani Pitts) in search of the legendary gorilla. Morris turns in a fine performance as Denham, playfully manipulating audience perceptions. Is he a hero? A scoundrel? Or worse?

Familiar to theater-goers and TV watchers alike,

George Eads to Exit ‘MacGyver’ on CBS
George Eads is leaving CBS’ reboot of “MacGyver,” Variety has confirmed.

Eads has been with the drama series since it debuted in 2016 in the role of Jack Dalton, starring opposite series lead Lucas Till. His last episode of the series, which is currently in its third season, is expected to air in 2019.

Reps for Eads, CBS, and CBS TV Studios declined to comment on the reason for his departure from “MacGyver.”

This marks the second time Eads has departed a CBS show. He previously played Nick Stokes on the hit CBS procedural “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.” He took a leave of absence from that series after an incident with a writer in 2013, ultimately leaving the show after 15 seasons in 2015. He did not return for the two-part series finale that aired later that same year, despite the fact that many of the show’s original cast members returned for it. Eads

Blue Bloods Season 9 Episode 8 Review: Stirring the Pot

  • TVfanatic
The Reagan family is extraordinary in many ways, and that was on display on Blue Bloods Season 9 Episode 8.

But while they are exceptional, they aren't perfect.

Even Danny's loyalty to a friend on the job had its flaws.

Should Danny have lied for Tommy? I was torn.

I can't imagine what it's like to voluntarily put yourself in harm's way on a regular basis as part of your job and Tommy had been doing that for decades without an issue.

So should one moment of fear in the field brand him as a coward and end his career? I suppose that would depend on the reason he froze, and that reason eclipsed his love for being a cop.
