Trivia

The bulk of the movie was filmed in the Catskill mountains inside a small cabin in the rural town of South Kortright, NY. Since filming took place during the weekends of January and February, the cabin's coldest months of the year, this proved to create very difficult conditions during the exterior shots. It was not uncommon for temperatures, while filming outside, to be as low as -8 degrees Fahrenheit. See more »

Horribly Awful
29 November 2014 | by reviews1958See all my reviews

One of these days I'm gonna start reading the 1 star reviews FIRST before deciding to watch a movie! First - acting is rigid and artificial; Second, I could never understand the story. This movie seemed to be an attempt at combining a lot of types of horror flicks and it's a HUGE FAILED ATTEMPT. Unfortunately this is time in my life I will NEVER get back! MY BAD! I've been watching horror and psychological movies for the better part of 40 years - beginning with the original "Texas Chainsaw Massacre". In it's time it scared the bajeebers outtah me because nothing had been made so over the top at that time in film making. It truly set the bar, in my opinion, for bloody massacre movies and unfortunately this trite movie tried to walk in to it's territory VERY UNSUCCESSFULLY!
