- A group of people from all over the globe go on a three-day expedition to retrace to brigade trail from Quilchena to Kamloops.
- Our host, the storyteller Earl, walks through a ranch with his 2 children, then gets to talking about the Drive of '91. ("Yes sir, it was the drive of '91"). In a flashback, he explains the route, starting in Quilchena and travelling the brigade trail north to Kamloops. Over the documentary, the group goes with their stagecoaches, horses and of course, cattle. There are interviews with common folk travelling from around the globe, from England, Texas, New York, Calgary and one from Winnipeg. A particular lady has bought expensive garments she claims she will never wear again, strictly for the drive. The next night is spent at a small settlement, where poutine and soup is served. A man shoots beer cans in the air and a folk jam is held in the building. There is an interview with a John Wayne impersonator, a city slicker from Los Angeles and a trio of rednecks. The next day the drivers set out early to beat the day's heat, and they travel through harsh conditions. One interview with the head stage coach driver says he talks about the horse sweating on the big hills and compares it to a mule. The last stretch of the run is when the cattle accidentally wander onto the highway. In the end, after 3 days, there is a big reception in the middle of Kamloops as a crowd of people greets the drivers, bringing the historic documentary to a close.—CFJC-TV7
