An amazing lighthearted glimpse into ethnically diverse families in Canada from the perspective of a Canadian tracing his Japanese families history and life choices.

This movie really touched me and made me smile at the same time.

As someone who grew up and lives in a very ethnically diverse family this movie manages to cut to the heart of many of the questions and challenges we face in a hopeful, light hearted, and sincere way. A truly wonderful documentary about an amazing and beautiful Canadian family.

I *highly* recommend this documentary to anyone who has an ethnically mixed family, lives in an area where they are a minority, or has adopted family of other ethnicities. It will make you appreciate your happy hapa family all the more!
