The Gallaghers constantly refer to their address as North Wallace St. There is no North Wallace St. in Chicago, only South Wallace. Also, streets on the south side do not have "North" as part of their name, hence north side and south side. However, since it is a fictional series, the name of the Gallaghers' home street makes sense so as to not offend anyone living on a real-life street of Chicago.
Kevin is seen dispensing beer out of a Shiner Bock tap at the Alibi throughout the series. Shiner Bock is a dark lager. The beer being dispensed from the tap is a pale lager. However, it might either watered-down Shiner Bock or simply the Shiner Bock tap is being used for the wrong beer.
